'I know nothing' but, I'm working on it.:) I'm on diet, losing weight, and I want to exercise and be motivated in something I'm interested in...Sprinting.

I have been reviewing some shoes for either walking, cross train or running so I can get in shape to do sprints and maybe move up to a pair of spiked sprint footwear. I couldn't spend a ton of money and I'm not close to an athletic store that might even have employees that actually know something about fitting you.

The next best thing for me is internet research and go to the store that has a fair selection. I wound up at JC Penney's and tried on some name brand shoes and wound up purchasing a pair of Nike Reax Running 6 shoes @ $75. See Picture.

These are the most comfortable athletic shoes I have ever purchased . The first time I tried them for walking at the high school track and walked a mile and a quarter. They felt like I have been wearing them all my life. No pinching, no discomfort and good cushioning. I wore them yesterday for a treadmill nuclear stress test and its like I forgot about the shoes, like they weren't even there.

Just thought I'd share and would love some comments.

I have seen those finger shoes. lol. I thought at first they were a joke but, best I can tell, they're for real.

Tuesday I had a treadmill stress test and I wore my New Runners. I had 2 nurses tell me how cool they thought my shoes were. The first one I said "my wife hates them" and I said "I told my wife she wouldn't have to wear them" (joking). The second nurse, I said, "I noticed all the real old guys were wearing white 'New Balance' cross trainers...so I bought neon green soled Nike's". :D
