Path to a 500 wilks

4x15 pull ups? I gotta step my pull up game up.

They definitely get a lot easier the lighter you get. Ha. I could only do about 8-10 in a row when I was 215lbs. Now I can basically fling myself around on the bar in the 180s. Now sure what I would amrap at with decent form. Might have to try it when I'm on vacation next week. Ha.

Weight today was 189.6

Workout was,

1x3 squats @ 495lbs
4x1 paused squats @ 405lbs
3x8 paused bench @ 275lbs
4x15 pullups
3x8 seated rows
4x15 reverse flies

Was a little carbed up and pretty well rested so attempted to tie my old sleeve pr. Well.... I did it. Lol. That's about the only good thing I have to say about that set.

Got my next couple meets definitively picked out.The one is in 5 weeks. It's more to qualify for uspa world's. I only need like a 1,200lbs total at my class. Haha. So I think I have that covered even if I had the flu.

The next one is the one I'm actually taking serious and that's in 16 weeks. So I have plenty of time to hop on a cycle yet and try to hit my goal. This one will probably be just as good as world's. Only 25 lifters will be in the pro division. I think like 12 guys have signed up so far and out of them there are 3 separate people who can squat 800+ and a couple who bench 500+.

Uspa mens open 181 class :
Class 1 total-1215 raw
Masters totals: 1355

you should be able to get to worlds with your openers

Yeah, that is basically my plan. Lol. I'd hate to have to take any time off the gym just to qualify for a meet I might not even end up going to. So I'll probably take it easy so I don't have any down time.

Made the mistake of measuring my arms today when I was fasted. Lol. Really made me want to start eating more and hit arms more. Lol. Fuck.... Ha. Only a couple more weeks and I'll be starting a cycle so I'll probably just keep maintaining for now.

Have you gotten Elite yet?

You train at a commercial gym?

Kind of. Lol. It has a really good vibe to it, and the owner is a former state record holding and national champion powerlifter. So he makes an attempt to try and make it powerlifting friendly. But it's definitely not a powerlifting gym.
