Path to a 500 wilks

Workout today was,

X3 paused beltless deadlift @ 545
X5 pbd @ 495
X8 pbd @ 405
4x10 chest supported rows
3xamrap nautilus lat pulldown @ 95
4xamrap 5 second reverse curls @ 65

Was supposed to do a regular set of 545. But don't get my new buckle until Monday. Decided since I didn't have my belt I would do the same weight and add a pause.

Makes sense to me.
Math is hard.
Calculating beltless vs belted is hard.

Just hitting the weight is easy and leads to gains.

Didn't get my new buckle today. But I went to the hardware store and got a new screw and welded the buckle together so it was good enough to get me through today. Lol. Squats were definitely pretty smooth. Makes me feel good moving forward. Should have a sleeve PR pretty soon.

50 pullups
3x8 db lateral raise @ 50
3x12 cable lateral raise +1 drop set
X30 tricep pushdowns
3x10 tricep pushdowns +1 rps (+11 reps)
4x8 6 second eccentric reverse curls

Forgot my gym bag so kind of went off program a bit. Was supposed to workout yesterday but I had a few drinks with a girl Wednesday night. We left the bar at 10pm, but we were up until 4 getting that fasted cardio in. Haha. So needless to say I was in no shape to lift heavy that morning. Lol. Down about 10lbs of water.

3x5 paused bench @ 285
50 pullups
3x8 db lateral raise @ 50
3x12 cable lateral raise +1 drop set
X30 tricep pushdowns
3x10 tricep pushdowns +1 rps (+11 reps)

Being I have a new woman friend and it's more or less summer time, I'll probably compete at 181. Still shooting to get as close as I can to 6/4/7 this meet regardless of weight. Going to have a decently clean diet up to it instead of killing myself with a huge water cut like last time. Starting at 300c, 290p, 70f. Might not even need to change it. Will probably post picture of my boring food later. Lol. Just had meal 3 of the new diet.

That's a long story. I said I was going to do a cycle a few times now and never have. I'll get about two weeks into it and then something comes up and I just go back to cruising. Been on 600mgs of test for a few weeks now though (going to throw in 50mgs of var starting next week also) and will just run that until the meet. I could get into detail about why I didn't do the last few cycles, but I think anyone that's been following this log can probably put 2+2 together. Lol.

5x8 nautilus row @ 95
4x8 nautilus lat pulldown @ 95

100 rep tricep ladder

Well, down a couple pounds but the roids must be kicking in because that bench was laughable at best. Going off RPE I'm probably ready to tie my old bench PR and I'm about 15lbs lighter than I was last time.
