Pct and fertility after years of blast/cruise

I'm 34 and have been blast/cruising for about 5 years now. The way my life was going and the partner I was with, I was fairly certain I wasn't ever going to want to have kids, and lets be honest, just didn't care back then.

Now I am married, with a different partner, and we have decided that we want to try. I have been cruising on 150mg of test for about 6 months now and am ready to come off, but was hoping to get some PCT advice specific to my situation. I know this will be a difficult path, and it might not even happen, but I have to at least try. Fwiw, I have taken an over the counter sperm count test kit and came in below average (I know these tests aren't super accurate, and this could mean I am anywhere from zero to low).

Do you think that following a pct protocol as seen in the sticky of this forum would be a good start? Or would i need to take a different approach due to being on for so long?

My thought was to come off, PCT, and get bloods to see where I'm at, along with an actual semen analysis. I am unsure if I should go to a doctor after PCT, or if it would make more sense to do this on my own. Any advice would be greatly appreciated it. I've read a ton of conflicting information and just hoping to at least figure out how to start. Thank you in advance, i would really appreciate any help i can get!

Were you, or are you on HCG? HCG helps maintain fertility. If you are not on it I suggest you do some research on dosages and source some. Also, HMG is suppose to help a lot!

I tried hcg back when I was still doing pct, before i started blasting and cruising. It would def be part of my upcoming pct regimen, for sure. Or were you alluding to just staying on a trt dose and add hcg in to see what happens?

What’s the end end goal after you have a kid, continue natty or immediately resume what you were doing? If you’re just gonna go back to trt or whatever you were doing I’d just do hCG and clomid until you’re good. You could do the same thing if you wanted to stay natty. And those home semen tests might tell you if you have a normal count but it prob won’t tell you how many are still alive, or how well they move etc

Thanks for your response. My end goal would likely just go back to a cruise dose/officially get on trt. When you suggest just do clomid and hcg until i'm good, did you mean while on a trt dose, or actually come off to pct and run those?

When looking for studies/articles involving trt/fertility, I find some that suggest taking hcg if you're on trt and trying to have a kid -- or alternatively come completely off and run hcg/clomid. What is unclear to me is if one approach is better/more effective than the other. Thoughts?

It seems like staying on cruise/trt might be a good way to go, at least to start and see what happens. This video i came across seems to sum up a lot of what i have been reading.

But would still love to hear others opinions/experiences.

When I said good I meant until you have a kid, but I’d stay on hCG but perhaps a lower dose to keep some function in case you want another. You could stay on trt and do hCG, but clomid might not work as well. If that’s the case you may need hmg/fsh. Low dose to no trt might be more effective tho. Yes I have studies on guys who started hCG right away with trt and maintained fertility. Also studies on what trt guys can do to get it back. I can post those later if you like.

Post em up!

Don't give up hope brother. I have been on trt for the last 2 years with a few modest cycles along the way. Im also 34 and I know 2 years isn't 5, but my wife and I actually conceived recently. This happened while I was on cycle of that helps. Everyone is different for sure and this isn't advice relative to the subject. I just wanted to throw you a little positive experience and say it's not impossible.
