pec development

I'm not sure you can really work just the inner part, since all of the fibers run laterally, development there I think is mostly genetic, as in tendon length, etc.

But, I started doing this one faggy looking exercise that seemed to make mine better, if you want to give it a try. It's sort of a POF kind of thing (point of flexion). You know how skull crushers are the best tri exercise, because the really hit the muscle midrange, where it's largest, and then guys to tricep kickbacks to hit the fully contracted muscle or... Squats vrs leg extensions, to bring out the teardrop, same idea.

Pecs are hit midrage with Bench press, but there isn't an obvious way to hit them at their fully contracted state, unless you (oh oh) use cables.

lay on a bench inside the cable station, and set the cables about a foot higher than your chest is when your laying down. Do a 'fly' motion with the cables (arms slightly bent to avoid excess stress on the elbows), and your pecs will be at peak contraction at the top of the motion. They never get this otherwise, except in crossovers, but most guys use that as a finishing exercise, and I can't do nearly as much weight with crossovers. But hey, try both since chances are you are built differently than me.

I suppose it doesn't need to be said you do this after benching so you don't weaken that exercise.
