PEP's Test e, 1st cycle ever.

Yea, I think I'm in the clear, I was determined to have a positive first pin, glad it panned out.
thanks for the heads up, I really hope I don't get any flu symptoms at any point.
From my experience you would have felt it already. I think glutes are pretty forgiving.
A piece of advise: Do not pin quads when you try it without cutting it. I got test flu when I did

What do you mean with test flu? and cutting what?

I believe test flu is when you have too much exogenous test in your system.
I pinned my quad, got some pretty good pip and the next morning had test flu. As the pip went away, so did the test flu.

Cutting the test with grapeseed oil to smooth out the BA that muscles don't like. I belive everyone uses BA to varying degrees.

Yea man, I was scared shitless all day yesterday but it went SMOOTH! Zero pip today at the injection site. I have a nurse in the family but they would not approve of my choices so I'm on my own. If things stay smooth like the 1st shot I'm good!

That's great! I've been on TRT for roughly 2 years; most of which was spent on injections. I recently switched to pellets. One of the tricks I used is to pin the non weight bearing gluteal muscle and to remain as relaxed as possible. Less movements equates to less pain.

Hey bro, you got me going to back to my old combat medic training. Another key to making a painless injection is to always inject bevel up. This allows the needle to pierce the skin with minimal trauma. Don't know if you knew this already, just thought of it and offered to share.

you know, I do remember reading or hearing that somewhere but I forgot to pay attention to that with my first injection. I'll definitely make sure I do that today on my 2nd injection.
Thanks!

Using the "bevel up" method is for getting IV access, not IM injections. It makes no difference what direction your bevel is for an IM.

Wouldnt the bevel being at the top of the injection angle assure you don't hit your skin with more of the surface area then just the absolute tip of the needle which would make entry resistance more consistent.
It does seem to be quite relivent to iv access though.

Injection angle for IM shots should be 90 degrees, in other words, straight in. There really is no "up" if you are giving a shot at a 90 degree angle.

Yea, there never really would be an im injection much off 90 degrees would there.
thanks.

Nothing much to report here. 2nd shot last night was pretty smooth, not quite as good as the first though. I had to adjust my grip and when I pulled the needle out I noticed I'd been putting some sideways pressure on the syringe. I got a kink in the back of my glute shortly after the shot, no where near the injection point. Not too bad and its improved this morning.
Workouts have been slightly above average, nothing really to report on that front either.
I will be posting pictures from before I started and measurmemnts when I have a little more time.
I did my first hcg shot a couple days ago with a 30g skin pin, very easy and quick. I got more injection site pip from that then the the test e. :-) the discpompfort disapated quickly though.
I took one 12.5mg aromasin last night and I think I'm going to go about e3d or e4d 12.5mg to start.
I feel a little bloated and am up 2.5lbs but that's from a couple overly salty meals I think.

3rd pin was last night, I was going to do my delt but opted to stay with the ventroglutial location. I figured I'll do two each side them move onto another location. This injection was the best thus far, basically no discomfort. The first two had no injection site discomfort but I ended up with a little tightness in my glute behind and below the injection site. Not sure if it was a direct result of the injection of not.
Diet has been decent, macros have been a tad carb rich, protein light but not too bad. Last week worked out to 33%protein, 35%carbs, 31%fat, averaged about 2600cal/day
Weight is 190, my low for a couple days last week was 185. Feeling a little bloated.
Workouts last week were solid, nice and sore but not crippling. Knee feels good, body feels good.
No real change in mood, well being, energy etc. I do feel like I'm running a tad warm, no fever warm, just warm, feels nice.
Workout recovery time seems on the fast side of normal. Sex drive is about normal, well high normal.
The boys are still full.
Hcg shots 2x/wk, 250 iu ea. 31 gauge slins sure are awesome!
Quick question on hcg, I was reading that it only lasts about 30days once mixed, PEPs comes in 5000iu's which is 10 weeks worth. I keep it refrigerated but there is a big difference between 30 days and 10 weeks.

I think if you reconstitute it with bac water vs sterile water you can get more than 30 days out of it, but maybe a vet can chime in to verify

Hmmm, I can't really find much to back this up. Maybe I'll up the dose a little as it gets near 30 days and push past 30 by a couple weeks continuing to up the dose.
I want to keep my boys healthy! :-)

You are correct Azuzal. Bac water keeps it pretty longer.

Just did my first delt shot, a bit under 1.5ml, i jumped the gun a little based on my previous plan to do one more ventroglutial shot. Angle/grip was bad, had to adjust to aspirate, hope I didn't move the needle too much. Shoulder feels fine immediately after, I do feel the pressure of the test e in my delt but that seems to be desipating with a heating pad. I've decided to switch to two injections a week instead of three just for more simplicity.
After removing the heating pad shoulder feels about the same as a flu shot, just a little achy.

Shoulder feels good today, a little sore right at the injection site but not bad at all, I expected worse based on the needle movement I think I had yesterday during the injection. Had a great shoulder workout today, not feeling superhuman or anything but I did have to convince myself to stop after about 30 sets.
I can't wait till I can really feel the test e kick in! For now I'll just be happy that everything is going smooth and I feel about 5 years younger in the gym. :-)

What gauge needle and lenght did you use on the delts? I'm thinking about trying it before my next cycle. My next cycle consist on EOD injects and I'm nervous.

Subscribed!

Interesting about filtering and mixing grape seed oil. Haven't heard that before will have to investigate.
