Peristaltic Pump help

I've decided to go the route of a peristaltic pump after my current set up has broken.

I have looked on ebay etc and I can see basic ones going from £10 all the way up to £600 or more. Can someone guide me in what I should be looking for when choosing one. It doesn't have to be a fancy one as it won't be used for filling, only filtering. TIA.

Get PVDF bottle top filters and a breakbleeder instead. That setup is overcomplicated and expensive.
Remember that you can't re-use filters and tubing. Those filters are expensive.

Price isn't really an issue. Looking to upgrade as the quantity being filtered takes too long with the current set up.

You can re use the tubing dont listen to the guy above... you guy attach the filter to the end and then put the filter right onto the sterile media bottle.

How much is the one in the link? I figured I wouldn't need anything fancy as I don't need for filling. I see ones with screens but I assume I wouldn't need that. Just unsure how powerful I would need it to be.

You need to get one that is for oil, not water. Alibaba has them pretty cheap.

How do I tell if its for oil? If it does not have it in the name of course.

Alibaba generally tells you what they’re rated for and of course their reps will guide you to the right pump for your needs.

You need to get one that is for oil, not water. Alibaba has them pretty cheap.

And water / oil doesn't really matter with this pump btw . if you know how the pump works you wouldn't say that

You plan to use this and attach it a capsule filter, right? And filter into a media bottle.

Eh, I’m sure there is a difference since Graybeard pumps sells specific models for oil and water.

Like whats the minimum and maximum pressures for the average setup?
