Pharmaceutical grade T / expired usage/open vial

Hey guys,

I'm just curious about others experiences while using expired testosterone that has already been opened. I have a T script but changed esters bc there was a T shortage here in Toronto. There's been a consistant back order of this on and off . I had an old vial of cyp that I didn't discard that was 8 months expired approx. I had no issues. I kept it stored at room temperature. The vial looked ok. My bloodwork was fine. I'm just curious if anyone has had negative experiences? Manufacture states discard once opened after 28 days . I guess if the compound is not stored correctly maybe it just weakens the potency the longer its kept around. I have a habit of doing this and I was just curious about others experiences. Any thoughts?

No the 28 day rule is something that's recommended from the federal govt. It's to prevent contamination, or rather the likelihood of it getting contaminated. But if you're using proper sterilization methods pre and post injection it shouldn't be an issue.

The carrier oil would 'expire' way before the test loses significant potency.

The expiration date assumes you kept the oil at the max storage temp recommended. If it was below that temp and doesn't give bad pip or what not it's probably ok.

In any case the oil oxidizes over time which can cause inflammation.

Yeah man that was what I forgot to mention. I normally never exp any pip but I have noticed ichyness at the area right after I inject cyp...."only exp vial". Its not a big deal though. I have some extra vials bc when the T came back I was allowed to get more dispenced due to the testosterone shortage. I wanted back up. I find cyp gives me body acne exp or not but no issues with eth. Its probaby the oil that is used. Thanks man
