Philosophy of Life. Every man should have one

This kinda feels like college. Remember I am older and have a family. Retired and enjoying life.

I believe that life is a precious and impermanent gift that should be appreciated and respected. I strive to be aware of my thoughts, feelings, sensations, and surroundings in the present moment, without judgment or attachment. I acknowledge and accept the reality of what is, without trying to change it or escape from it. I cultivate compassion and kindness towards myself and others, recognizing our common humanity and interdependence. I seek to learn from my experiences, both pleasant and unpleasant, and to grow as a person. I value simplicity, balance, and harmony in my life. I practice mindfulness as a way of living authentically and meaningfully.

We live in a self balancing self calibrating universe, everyone has a high vibe set point and also a low set point , to much emphasis on going up and getting high on life we are always grounded by the universe and have darkness and light in our bio chemistry make up , balance is the key and finding out our own inner voice which the universe has downloaded in each human, miracles are kept in lockmode till we are responsible to deliver what the universe has in store for our purest spiritual growth, and it will put you through ego traps to free you from bondage of self and others, my inner voice has spoken

I have children I am nearly 40. I have found in my life that maintaining your integrity is the most difficult path you can set for yourself. Life is only precious if you make it so. Life can be cheap and worthless if you waste it. Mindfulness is fundamental to the Way but mindfulness without action is useless. My principles do not always align with society or laws and I have ended in many a difficult situation because of this.

I do not value life as much as others or in the cliche manner society dictates. Everything should be earned.

I know I am probably one of the youngest guys here in this forum. Am still in college but I have realized that I am far more ambitious than other guys my age in their 20s. Here is my life philosophy coming from my own experiences so far. Feel free to tell me how retarded or stupid this is if think so. No hard feelings at all in fact I will use your criticism as form of growth and reflect on it for my own benefit no matter how harsh it is. My philosophy is that is men are all connected. Even though we are all competing for money and women we are all connected in a kind of beautiful way. We inspire each other to be better through competition. It’s kind of hard to explain without an example so I will share a personal experience. When I was younger 15 I saw a group of guys who are all super muscular they all looked good and walked with confidence. They had a type of energy that I wanted. This inspired me. I started working out and focusing on my myself. If I had never seen those guys I would not be where I am today. I would probably be a fat peice of shit who doesn’t care about money and has no ambition. This is what I mean by how us men are all indirectly connected. Am sure one day a younger guy will see me when I have completed all my goals and I will inspire him. And so on the cycle continues.

I can relate to this, good answer

My philosophy in life is to be the best person I can be, meaning being kind, humble, humility, and respect. I’ve worked retail for a long time and seeing many act without integrity pushes me harder to better myself. It is hard at times, and sometimes I’ll get mad, but I push it down and continue to learn from my reactions and better myself.

Overcoming addictions is a long battle I have with myself and is something I’m still fighting to obtain. But I will keep on pushing no matter what. I WILL be the best person I can be.

Beautiful statement

I try to keep my philosophies concise so I can use them as a type of mantra when I need to

1. Courage over pride, when you're starving you need the Courage to fight, pride is for when you're fed

2. Temper yourself, or life will, no free rides

3. Hard work is currency, and you're paying rent every day, make sure you've got enough currency to do it.

4. Don't hold anyone to a standard you wouldn't hold yourself to

I have very similar ideas and I tell my sons in the same manner.

Everyday is earned: no matter how much work you did yesterday, that was yesterday.

1. Be true to yourself
2. Be a decent human being
3. Protect the ones you love, even if it means to die. Be the wall between them and ill intentions.
4. Be humble but stand your ground
5. Be kind to those who can't pay you back. People that have it worst than you and animals.
6. Say sorry if you are wrong; don't forgive without being asked for forgiveness, just walk away from the person.
7. Life is short, enjoy it but don't spend it away.

You have put some thought into this. Well done. We have enough little Hitlers.
