Pick up artist or creepy perv?

Hey girls, and guys

I had to post and ask about this story. I have no friends in real life so I have to ask my fellow meso junkies lol. I wanted a ladies perspective on this so that's why I posted here.

A buddy at work was telling us a story from the prior weekend over lunch on Friday. I do know other people that were with him so the story has been verified.

So, my buddy Tim and a few of his dudes were chilling at a bar in Boston, doing what dudes do.
They see a group of young women sitting at a pub table drinking and doing their thing. As the story goes one of the girls is drop dead gorgeous, like everyone that sees her would think she is gorgeous, That stunning apparently.

Well, the girls had ordered food, a pizza to be specific. Tim tells his dudes, "this is either going to be really good or really bad!", gets up and walks right over to the girls table and as the gorgeous girl takes a bite of her pizza Tim leans in and takes a bite from her slice at the same time she is biting it!!

The table has a moment of pause and the girls start laughing and the dominoes fall in Tim's favor. His boys and the girls have a good night. He ends up going out with her a few days later and who knows where it will lead for them.

What I'm dying to know is what you ladies think of that move? Creepy? More aggressive than needed? Did he get lucky? I'm so far removed from 'the game' I don't even know what to think of that move. Shit, it did work for him though...

That's one really slick pick up line of sorts...very unconventional but such a move like that just might not work for every guy. To me I think the girls were baiting those guys in a subtle way.

When I was stationed in Germany my buddy had the best method although it wasn't my style. If there was a table full of hot chicks he'd always go for the heavy set one. 100% chance of slaying trim with minimal effort lmao

My take: Your friend must be good looking and the girls probably had something (too much?) to drink...Ain't no way my balding, 42 year old (albeit in good shape) ass would be able to pull that off even if I wanted to (am married).

Depends entirely on the outcome. Since he pulled it off they probably think he's charming and/or daring. Had it failed he'd be the creepy perv that weirded them all out that night.

Totally separate entities at the bar. He surprised the hell out of them I'm told.

He is mid 20's, not a bad looking guy, athletic. Still have yet to see a pic of the girl. The girls may have been a bit tanked, not sure.

I wouldn't believe the story if it weren't for the other folks there. One of the guys with him isn't a huge fan of him so I know he is telling the truth.

My wife said that it isn't a bad move in her opinion, but it all depends on the guy making the move.

What the guy did was rude and creepy. Totally lacks class. Of course, I'm not in my 20's anymore, so my opinion is dated for sure. However, if I was in my 20's and heard of this, I would still say it's rude....even in a drunken state, it's still rude. Chivalry is dead.
