Pip or Infection?

Im 6 weeks into a Test E 12 week cycle. I have been rotating my sites from the ventrogluteal site, to vastus lateralis, to deltoid with the first week including upper outer gluteal site. This is the second time pinning my deltoid Sunday night. I warmed 1.25 cc Test E before injecting with a 1 inch needle and had no issues until 24 hours after injection. After that my shoulder became swollen but not at injection site. It is more the rear deltoid that is swollen. It is warmer than the rest of my body sometimes hot and is a slightly redder. It feels hard and pumped. If pressed it leaves an indentation. I have used a heating pad last couple nights and tried massaging the spot but hasnt improved. After aggressively massaging the area it a couple days ago it actually felt like it has gotten tighter since then. Yesterday I aspirated 2 different spots in the area but nothing came out except a drop of blood. I dont have any Keflex lying around but I do have Cipro I ordered awhile back on hand. Has anyone else experienced this before, if so, how did it turn out.

Yes I've gotten lumps, knots or whatever best describes them that have seemed infection like. Sounds to me like maybe you just got a little irritated. I know anything over .5ml in my delt bothers me. I'd defiantly not be jabbing it trying to drain it this soon it could worsen it. I'd leave it alone give a week and pay close attention to your body temperature and how you feel. If you start to run a fever and feeling lethargic then it's safe to say you have an infection. As long as you were sanitary I'm sure your bfine.

Impossible to tell whether you have PIP or an infection from that post, but you know what, to be on the safe side, go and get it checked, but you may also want to ride it out.

Here's what happened to me one of the first times I did delts: I had had absolutely no pip whatsoever the first times and jammed 2mls in my right delt. It blew up, filled with water or gunk, got red and I could literally shift my inflated shoulder pad around my skeleton. When I did bench, it felt like the inflated area was something else - like a different part than my actual shoulder. It was painful, it was red, it was warm, but I ain't seeing no doc until my head falls off and it didn't. A week later, I was all fine and dandy again.

An infection if you have good gear and follow normal routines of swabbing and clean needles etc, is hard to get imo.

Oh and ketotifen and Benadryl are your friends.

Sounds like good ol irratation from the gear or injection technique. Sometimes its smooth and sometimes it knots up its all part of the game imo. Try cutting your juice down 50/50 with some grape seed oil. Works very well for me.

Thanks for the response. I have been taking Benadryl throughout the day and some Ibuprofen at night and always follow normal routines of swabbing and clean needles. I haven't had a high fever, my temp did rise to 99.5 while outside yesterday but lowered back to normal, which is about 98.7 for me throughout the day, once I was inside. The spot isnt really a localized knot or small lump at the injection site that is swollen and slightly red, its the majority of the rear delt going back towards the shoulder blade and up over the shoulder joint and down a little towards the back of tricep. Hurts a little when moving it the joint or using the rear joint. It could have been injection technique, I had my girl pin my deltoid for me tried to keep it as still as possible but still moved in and out a little. Trying to avoid the doc because I am military. If it is an infection, do any of you all know if cipro has worked in the past for any of you all.

Update
So the spot that is red has pretty much stayed the same but some of the puffiness has spread to the top of my biceps. Its doesn't hurt when I touch it nor is it warm or hot or red like the rest but it does leave an indentation when pressed like the other spots. Should I be icing or applying heat?

Sounds to me like maybe you got a little movement of the oil and it's causing the irritation to spread. I had this happen one time and I was fucking crippled up for like 4 days. It was horrible. I guess you either don't inject slow enough and it doesn't collect in the muscle or you just pin in a place where it can leak between the fibers. Either way it's only happened to me twice where other muscles or the joint in that one case became bothered a day or two after injection.
