Pipe bomb mailer said steroids made him do it

On the surface, it seems kind of ridiculous... Although, I do kind of wonder how much hard steroid abuse could warp the mind after 4 decades.

He wanted to "tone down the violent liberal left"... By sending pipe bombs. Only in Florida.

If you read his letter, you will realize that steroids were the least of his problems. Of course, anyone with such mental deficiencies and psychopathology won't do well with AAS.

Yet they focus on just the AAS
30 pages of practically incomprehensible garbage with two short references to AAS.

The AP quote the part where he said he was using "heavy amounts of steroids" and "274 different supplements and vitamins" but they forgot to include the GHB.

This is the complete sentence:

"Plus I was using heavy amounts of steroids, 274 different supplements & vitamins & GHB, etc."

Also, this reference:

"I am a very good person to everyone. I lost my head, steroids altered my growing anger. I made a bad choice taking them to help enhance devil work. I lost control of myself & mental state from them."

I didn't necessarily need to read the letter to realize that steroids were the least of his problems. :)

I agree with you that mental health problems combined with steroid abuse, or perhaps even simply steroid use, isn't an optimal scenario. I do wonder though, if someone with no history of mental problems who abuses something like tren for years upon years, might acquire some mental problems even after the usage is discontinued.

In reality, I believe this guy is just looking for any scapegoat he can offer to avoid taking responsibility for a series of very bad decisions. It's like I did X, thus I'm not really responsible for Y occurring.

Is voting for Hillary Clinton a symptom of low testosterone? This Florida doctor says, yes.

Your Hormones Tell You How to Vote
The scientific search is on for the chemical cocktail that makes you vote Republican (or Democrat).
Your Hormones Tell You How to Vote

But this is the way MSM views steroids

only beating good guys too.

Of course, he is looking for a scapegoat. And I guess his public defenders have a job to do. But it says a lot about our society when defense attorneys think the best strategy is to consult a "psychiatrist with specialized knowledge regarding the effects of steroid use to address how Mr. Sayoc's extensive steroid use likely affected his mental health" while overlooking other potential scapegoats.

For example, how did it affect his mental health to be "raped, penetrated and molested" by "Brother Raymond" for over a year while he was allegedly imprisoned at a Catholic boarding school? How did it affect his mental health 40 years later when he confronted his rapist and no one believed him? How did it affect his mental health when he learned that the $6000 settlement he received paled in comparison to the six- and seven-figure other Church victims received?

Sayoc goes on for multiple pages about this. He only briefly mentions steroids.

Yet the headlines only say Sayoc was fucked up from steroids.

Is trump also on steroids? Or is the violence he’s inciting somehow different? Like how his proponents won’t blame him for influencing this asshole but demonize democrats who urge people to confront their lawmakers to listen to them and not lobbyi$t$ ... there’s always going to be some hypocritical snowflake double standard the right uses. If it’s not steroids, then it’s something someone else did. the guy had an inclination for crazy- that’s why he’s a right winger.
