"I went a year lifting everyday for two hours..."

:eek::eek::eek:

mob, you seem like a fairly smart guy. how do you NOT know that overtraining can cause plateau's and totally fuck you up>? The whole concept of weight lifting is that you are TEARING YOUR MUSCLES and they need TIME TO REGROW.

The bare minimum is a day rest inbetween heavy workouts and if you are lifting for two hours that is a freaking heavy workout!!!!!

Even if you did legs on one day and upper body on another day you need a day of rest inbetween those two days and then repeat. You should NOT be working out more than 4 days a week (rest day inbetween each workout day!!!)

Your freakin muscles need time to recover and grow!!!!!

You are also overtraining by doing two hours sessions! 1.5 hrs is even too much. How much freaking weight lifting are you doing? I can do full body in 45 mins and that's shoulders, chest, back, arms, legs (squats and others), abs.

You are overtaining with the time in the gym and the frequency.

That's why you aren't making progress and infact you are losing gains.

It's not rocket science. You are fucking yourself up.

It's all psychological at this point. I think mob is a good guy, just dealing with some tough to face issues, maybe some therapy would do alot of good.

I dont think his lack of gains is psychological. He was overtraining.

The fact that he was overtraining is definetly due to his body dsymorphia.

My sister's bf has body dsymorphia. The dude is jacked but he always think he is fat or not jacked enough. He will go running or lifting weights at the drop of the hat at inappropriate times.

I am not sure how to solve this disorder but I will say that I used to be somewhat body dysmorphic myself. I just sort of grew out of it as I got older and I realized the superficiality and fleeting nature of a physical body. But from 16 to 25 i was pretty obsessed with my physique.

I wouldnt be surprised if I overtrained back in high school and it was the cause of my low T/fucked up hpta. I wouldnt be surprised if mob fucked up his endocrine system by overtraining too.

Its so weird that this worked for so long for me, but yes, I reached my breaking point and its clear to me now that I need this month off. I haven't even done any light cardio yet, and am debating on whether or not to. My only concern regards starting back up again. In about a month or so when I want to get back into it, I may need some help in reducing the volume of my lifts, and maybe just switching to a more compound type of routine that can get me in and out in 45 minutes at the most. For the past few months I've been doing every other day with weekends off, but since I never took a break in between that, the EOD doesn't matter. Fingers crossed this one works for me guys. It would make sense considering all my blood work says I'm healthy..and I'm sorry Forveryoung, my theory that running supraphyisologic T levels for too long fucks you up has probably lost its merit now that we think this is my problem. That doesn't mean its healthy though.

Also Han I'd like to point out that the contributions of simple forum members such as myself in this thread have printed mob in the right direction and hopefully helped him. Meanwhile you, the all knowing asshole of the Internet, have told him that a long time ago in a galaxy far far away you had parasites. Which one of us was the "hemrroid" (sp?) hanging around with no purpose?

You need to address the psychological component as well. Otherwise you're going to be stressing yourself always thinking you aren't good enough/strong enough/big enough and it'll lead to exhaustion. You need to find some inner peace, and you aren't alone; its hard.

How long were your T levels supraphysiologic? How much were you dosing and for how long?

Body dysmorphia may be common in a lot of younger males.

Were you prescribed 4 pumps a day or did you increase it on your own?
What did your doc say about those testosterone levels?

I was prescribed that amount, and seeing as a lot of guys don't respond amazing to the gels, I think my doc assumed I'd get to 800 at best. He really didn't do a great job at monitoring me while on, and my e2 ran around 50 the whole time. Despite a high e2, I never had gyno issues. Currently he's doing a piss poor job of doing labs, and haven't had a single one since he increased my dose to 200. Last time I went in expecting a full panel, he told me "feel good? See you again in six months" I only inject 100 a week, despite what he prescribes me, and I have adex so it's really not killing me to go without labs. If I had to guess, I'd say my baseline level is now around 700

Some men and women clients I see may use hormones to justify their.unhappiness in life or.other psychological issues. Women with thyroid issues are notorious for doing it. Sit on internet all day long having people.give a pity party. When in fact once you are face to face with them, they have been.emotional, physically abused or even molested. They fail to.tell.people on line their marriage is failing, their sound is hooked on drugs and other information which would put a soap opera to shame. If one can not.justify.it.biologically then its.most.likely not that. I.spent 4 week with a Dr trying to.justify ones mental.issues as biological giving her the benefit.of the doubt. My finding presented.to.the Dr where.no.biological explanation. The patient was refer out for.psychiatrist evaluation manic depression with borderline personality disorder. Why she was so.deceptive they are master manipulators.

Wow Han.. Shut the fuck up, please.

Mob, weren't you on hcg as well? So it wasn't just androgel driving your T that high, correct?

were you using hcg in addition to the androgel?

have you had a lipid panel run lately - curious as to what your TC, HDL, LDL, Trigs, etc are.
