Pistol grip syringe

Yes, my bad didn't see what section this was in as was going thru threads in new posts view

Yah I don't see the advantage of using the thing as sterilizing it would be a bitch plus 60ml syringe with calking gun is tried and true.

Why would you need to sterilize it? The gear would be sterilized after leaving the gun and traveling through the filter.

Because keeping things as clean as possible is good brewing practice! Would you want to use gear that was brewed with equipment that was just cleaned in a dishwasher or washed properly by hand and baked in an oven?

End product sterility is my biggest concern and that's a result of proper filtering. For all we know many of these UGLs may be using a pressure cooker or dishwasher to cleanse their instruments, how do we really know, but we rarely hear of legit infections.

To each their own, but I prefer to play it safe and keep shit clean. You never know a filter could be defective or something so why not spend a few more minutes on sterilization :)

Unless you’re starting with sterile raws, sterile BB, sterile BA and sterile oil, then the process of fully sterilizing your brewing equipment is a complete waste of time, but to each their own.

If your fine cleaning your glassware with the same dirty ass rag you use to clean your kitchen counters good for you, but I'll keep playing it safe thanks :)
