guys I've decided i need to go back on trt. basically i stopped 4 months ago because someone told me it makes you infertile. i am a primary sufferer and before trt had a miniscule amount of sperm (2000 per shot). So four months ago i stopped trt, and had a varicocele emobolziation to see if it will improve my testicular health. today i went to a sperm bank and alas they found nothing. so now i am a difficult position. should i wait and give the procedure i had a chance to possibly improve my testicular health, whilst giving my balls another couple of months chance to make sperm, or should i go straight on the trt, which will undermine the benefits of the procedure and will now allow sperm to possibly improve.

However, i was thinking that i could have the best of both worlds. If i did HCG, would it not be possible for my balls to potentially keep growing back, and make sperm, whilst doing TRT, and then i could potentially (if im hugely lucky) go bank sperm in a couple of months.

If i took HCG whilst doing TRT, would the HCG be able to maintain my current testicular health whilst the proecure i had improves matters down there.

U see i dont really want to subject my balls to atrophy so soon after having this procedure. I dont want any further degredation caused by TRT

In a word guys, is HCG strong enough to keep my testicles awake and fully functioning whilst on TRT.

If it is, then could someone advise me how much i should take, and how often.

Im 19, having a T level of 8 (bounderies=8-24) and LH and fsh of around 60, on a scale which only goes up to 25. so does that mean id need a larger amount more hcg than most to maintain my testicular health and allow for healing and sperm generation.\

thanks so much guys

I'm sorry to say this, but your case is just too tough to be handled in this Forum. These are decisions you need to be making with your doctors.

Dr swale your right but....l

Dr swale your absolutely right. the problem is though that the endo's in london dont prescribe HCG. As a 19 year old, id obviously rather do nothing and take no medications. but then again im 19 and have a hypergoandal body. ie slight gyne and skinny arms. i want to improve matters, without effecting my testicles in any negative fashion, as ive just had this procedure. so the choices facing me are,
1. do nothing,
2. do an anti estogen to allow the little T i do produce to have greater effect.
3. TRT and HCG to allow the balls to keep growing back.

I dont want to really do any of these things, but im looking for a way to improve my body and mood, without negatively effecting my testicles.

I know i should be seeing someone properly, but believe me i have seen three endos in the last year and none of them have none what theve been talking about. one of them had nether heard of a varicocele, and none of them knew anything about HCG,
> Im worried that HCG wont be strong enough to supply the balls with the stimulation they need once i go on TRT, as immediately on TRT my lh and fsh disapeares.

Im starting to get desperate. if you could please pass comment i would be so grateful

Seems like I heard something about a UK HRT board, although I've never visited it.

Does anyone here know what I'm talking about?

I'm thinking that those guys might know of a UK physician familiar with exogenous testosterone+hCG therapy.
