hey i know everyone has rights, but kids are not even forced to say the pledge ... but anyways that guy who is against it, really PISSES me off. every time he opened his mouth i wanted to punch him. i know it doesn't make me any better to say that, but he's an ASS! just my .02

I guess some people are debating whether of not to keep the reference to God in the pledge of allegiance, I read a pole asking people if they thought it should be changed and surprisingly enough 87% voted not to change it, thought that number would have been smaller with all the dumbasses today.
 
what i thought was funny ... is that he says he's an atheist and he is doing it for his daughters right. but he doesnt even have custody of her and her mom does and is raising her as a christian.

some people are overly-zealous even if it is, in our opinion, over stupid little things. i think this guy is just against, what he perceives as, the blind and surreptitious indoctrination of the younger generation by our government and its agencies. he's probably one of the conspiracy theorists. since we live in such a litigious society, he's using this mechanism, which is available (and, i would say, abused) to all of us to further his own agenda. i would tend to think he's a real dick as well, because there's no need to tie up the system over this when, as a rational and responsible parent, he could just talk to his kid and explain things. but that's just me... :D

supreme court questioned him hard, none seemed sympathetic at all from reports ive read, i think there will be a clear vote against changing it, from questions they asked him, i almost got the impression there was alittle anger twoards him, ive heard it will most likely be 7-1, the pledge wont change

me i dont see the big deal, remove it leave, so what, i love this country, the pledge is great, dosent have to god in it, i dont really get the feeling this guy is attacking my traditon or country, pledge would still be there, just not "under god" which was added in 1950 something, i dont like supreme court says its ok to burn flags tho, people doing that are scum, if i had my way they would be kicked out
