Most of these gifts will be unwanted, neglected and abused in 8 weeks.

Christmas is a time rescue orgs get overwhelmed and their resources depleted catering for thousands of well intentioned gifts.

I have already started the annual ritual of picking up dumped dogs because for some folks it is easier to dump one than cater and accommodate for it while the loving family go on vacation. Monitoring several now with the local agencies, animals abandoned while family on vacation. Videos taken, just waiting for the agency to declare legal neglect case and the animals can be seized and charges laid, merry fucking Christmas family.

What is it exactly kids learn when an animal is seen by them as a disposable toy.

Fucking got a dog for Christmas when I was 8 loved that dog for 13 years to the day he died of a heart attack from excitement of me walking through the front door. Got my current dog as my 19th birthday present to myself, ain’t no do on the planet living like he does. A pet can change a persons life entirely.
