PO BOX busts? Nervous 1st order - thanks

I am getting ready to pull the trigger and place an order to my U.S. po box. It is open 24 hours a day, but I am still a bit nervous about being caught. Will they place a slip and hold it for me if they suspect anything? I'm just gonna man up and do it, but would like to know how common it is to get busted. Thanks

From the research I've done, if they want to do a PO Box controlled delivery they'll pretty much always put in a notice to have you sign for it at up front. It's relatively rare for personal amounts but not entirely unheard of.

I always confirm with a source that it won't require a signature prior to ordering.

They will probably leave a key to a separate parcel locker inside your PO box, notifying you what number parcel locker to pick up your package (unless they put it straight into the PO box). If they leave a notice telling you to come claim and/or sign for a package in person, don't do it (if domestic). If you order international, unfortunately, your going to have to sign for it in person :(.

Appreciate the responses guys. I am going to switch to a large enough po box so it fits in there for sure and only go domestic. If there's a slip in there when I know it will fit, I'm not going to pick it up and will get a new po box at a different location.

That f*ckin ewok on your avatar Mike. I didn't realize what it said at first. That little bastard looks like he means business - I'm still laughing.

If your pack comes in a box, even a small one that fits in PO Box, chances are they will drop it off in a parcel locker, leave you a note and key letting you know you have a package in locker #soandso. You go to the parcel locker, open it with key, take your pack and leave key in parcel locker. No meeting anyone in person to get the package though.

Yes ,it's a shaky deal ,The way I have done it is I have a box that I pay for monthly. But like all packages that need a signature, they do call, you go in ,sign and get the package. It's just like you sign at your door, and if your not home, they leave a slip. I just have my source send mine (no sig) slip it in the box and good to go. It is not under my real name, just address. I have never had I problem,, YET...Knock on wood,,,,, So if it's lost, so be it. And if there's a problem with LE, that's not my name, someone sent it to the wrong ppl.. You just got to know your source brothers.. And be safe......AnalogMan

its a little dicey, ive used a pobox for years, i usually get the same guy at the post office and i made up a story about my brother working for a foreign company selling and servicing medical equipment, because im getting packs from all over the world. last time i got one from pakistan, he seemed agitated thats the vibe i was getting. he made a comment about were it was from. i stared to say something but he cut me off and said it was opium, the mother fucker was serious, and handed me the pack. needless to say ive been having my packs delivered to clean address. guess he wasn't buying the story any longer. as i was walking out the door i looked over my shoulder expecting to see postal inspector. thay got my blood up.
the moral is, dont send your packs to the same address too many times.

get a box at the ups store. or a mom and pop store. they'll sign for it. no questions asked

just dont get a pack delivered there every week

Usps po box is no more risky than a mom and pop pmb, or upsstore mailbox. As big_paul said above. Just don't have multiple international packs sent to the same address. Use your head and be careful.
