The patient presents with restricted neural glide in left leg. Initiation of the slump test results in a tight, tingling, burning sensation along the back of the leg into the heel. Dorsal section of patient's left foot is swollen. Neuralgia is noticed in left foot near the metatarsals. Left calcaneus is slightly swollen and painful when palpated at the lateral portion achilles tendon insertion. Upon deep knee flexion, neuralgia is noted in the left-leg's popliteal fossa near the medially-located hamstring tendons.

After four weeks on 500mg testosterone enanthate per week, symptoms started in the dorsal left foot as swelling and pain that was only present with palpation. After six weeks on this dose, symptoms began, suddenly, in the achilles tendon. It was at this time that the radiation along the nerves of the back of the leg became obvious. Patient had reported massive back pumps through his course of testosterone. No back pain noted. No comorbidities. Patient started an exercise program using the following movements: squat, press, bench press, bent-over barbell row (pendlay), and dead lift. Weights tapered from 50% to 100% of patients 5 repetition maximum over four weeks. No pain is noted during exercise, Patient seems to perform the exercises well though a slight lumbar instability during the initial hip flexion of squats and dead lifts. Patient exhibits slight anterior pelvic tilt.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Thoughts?
