Post Work Out - Drink/Anabolic Spike?

Dole's sunshine blend is tasty, too. But I like plain old organic blueberries the most

Haven't had that. I just get the regular blueberries at Kroger. I was using skim milk, an apple and a banana, but I'm getting my sugar intake down a bit. The taste is actually better this way anyway.

Nope no issues but I do use eggs from my chickens so I feel better about it. I'm sure you've ate raw cookie dough at some point in your life. Theirs raw eggs in that.

1 carton egg whites
1/4 cup almond milk
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup oats

Blend that shit together, perfect post workout shake.

I do something very similar

350ml egg whites
250ml unsweetened Vinilla almond milk
1/2 cup of frozen strawberries
1 scoop caisen protien
1/4 cup flax seed

I've tried the one identical to yours before as well but I always seem to just end up chewing on oats it seems lol. Do you powderize them first?

Stevia would be worth considering

Yeah, I'm looking to take my diet up a notch. I'll be trying to stay in a weight class for the first time this year rather than just coming in however I am. I'm going to have to really get diet dialed in to maximize performance.

Had no clue that egg whites could go in a shake! It has to be pasteurized or something right? Otherwise it would need to be cooked think.

Yes, pasteurized. You can buy them already ready though. Can't even taste them.

Whole wheat oat flour is an awesome convenience. Mixes well cold, even in shakers. Great for on the run shakes, and more palatable than whole oats. More expensive too though.

This is what I'm gonna a do when I start my cycle. Been running low carbs for a while, just waiting to heal up, but this new blender is the shit

I call it chocolate PB banana pwo shake

2 scoops chocolate protein
8 cups of whole milk
3oz of egg whites
1/2 vanilla Greek yogurt
1/2 cup whole grain oats
1 large banana
2tbs natural peanut butter

1100kcal
Carbs 105g
Fat 39g
Protein 89g

I haven't exactly tried it yet but on paper it looks perfect, macros are 40c/30p/30

I think drinking it may be the hard part, therefore I may split it up and do half pre and half post

I just blend my oats into powder first, then add whatever else and blend some more. Works well.

I like to take pre workout meals 1.5 hours before working out. That mix looks awesome but I think digesting that would have me hooped!
