Potency of anastrozole

How potent is anastrozole when used at a dose of 0.5 mg EOD?

Should I use it if my e2 level isn't above 75 pg/mL?

My e2 level is now above the reference range because I added a heavily aromatizing steroids to my cycle. It was 152 pmol/L (within reference range), but I think it's now around 200 or 250 pmol/L.

If you have used anastrozole at such doses and did blood works, can you tell me by how much such doses reduced your e2 levels? I need some average estimates to make a conclusion.

Also, a YouTube steroid coach said if e2 doesn't exceed 75 pg/mL, AIs aren't needed. True or false?

Are you having high e2 sides?

There is no magic number. YouTube steroid coach is an idiot.

Estrogen rises as everything else rises. Estrogen is very good and needed. I think treating a number is a poor way to go about it.

I would also start extrwnly low on the AI if you go that route. It’s not hard to crash your estrogen and that SUCKS

No, I don't have any e2 side effects at all, and I'm not planning to use AIs before I experience side effects.

I'm asking about how potent anastrozole is so I can know what to do when start getting e2 side effects. If I get such side effects and do a blood work and it shows my e2 is, for example, 400 pmol/L, how much reduction will be caused by 0.5 mg anastrozole EOD? Will it be 50, 100 or 200 pmol/L?

I have no personal experience with it. Only used arimidex so not sure on the dosing for anastrozle. Search on the forums and you’ll see common starting doses. 1+mg a week seems pretty high though to start with.

First, thank you for not starting until you noticed an issue.

Second, if you're gonna listen to advice from strangers online, listen to this... it is universally true in this PED game: start at the lowest known effective dose, and take only as much as you need to achieve the desired outcome.

If you get as jacked as you want on 175 mg/wk Test C, fuck the advice to run 500. If you never feel an E2 side, never take an AI. If your estrogen is higher than the Dow Jones, but you feel and perform fine, you are one of the blessed ones. If you do reach for the exemestane (or w/e) one day, start at 6.25 mg... a quarter of a tab. Try it until you're sure it doesn't work, and move up. Hopefully you aren't dealing with MAMMOTH sides that need to be addressed right away, because you've been following the golden rule and non over-indulging in whatever is elevating your E2.

Yes, this is manifesto of a massive pussy. But my bloodwork is immaculate and I look and feel better than I ever expected to when I got into steroids. It's the middle lane on this highway, but it's pretty fucking sweet.
