So my buddy is addicted to pain pills. Been about 10 years now. Oxycodone. He's tried to quit many times with no success. But he's always tried cold turkey. I know exactly how this feels because I myself had a run with hydrocodone for about a year. I hurt my back. Was better after a week but kept going back to the doc and he just kept giving them to me. My fault. My choice. But I stopped. My buddy being a 10 year addict he's going to need something to get him off this shit. He doesn't want to go to a treatment center because that will affect his job.... Regardless of the FMLA they will still do something to him. Because of our career field. He basically takes them to feel normal now he says. So he's not high at work, at least that's what he tells me. But who knows what the truth is. Cause I did the same thing. Told people oh I'm not high and I was high as shit....
So after reading about Caber and Prami how they increase Dopamine levels to reduce prolactin. Wouldn't they work to increase dopamine rapidly after stopping opiates? Or am I thinking about this the wrong way?
I posted a thread a while back about Kratom that got hell lol. But said my buddy was able to stop the pills using it. Well he did. But then went back to them and recently came to me asking if there is anything else. And it hit me about the caber and Prami how it works. So before telling him to try it. I wanted to get opinions on if this is possible. Cause he obviously doesn't need it for prolactin.
