Preparing for a meet, my training cycle

Lifting has going pretty good lately, did back on tuesday, speed bench, shoulders and traps wednesday, and today hit bis. Test is starting to kick in, I am feeling pretty good. Matt, what dosage do you think I should run the dbol at for these short cycles of the dbol? I just got it today and took 40mg today.

Bench on saturday didnt go real great, only got 325 raw, I dont know what the deal is. Put the shirt on after that and got 345 and missed 355, something didnt feel right in the shirt at all, I am not for sure what it was, that is also only the second time I have ever worn one so that probably has something to do with it. Hit 5 boards after that and built up to 405x2, now if I could just do that without the boards there lol. Monday started off with deadlifts, built up to 405, it was a really tough rep, then went to olympic squats real close stance and built up to a 2RM, then suspended good mornings up to a 5rm. Have any tips Matt? Last fall I tried this style of lifting for my bench for 8 weeks, I took a week off right before I started it, and the strongest I ever was during that entire 8 week period was the very first week, never increased after that, actually never even matched the first week. I need to give it more time, but what has worked for me best for getting my bench up while on cycle is building up to a 5 rep max, then adding 5-10lbs to my previous weeks 5rm. The meet is only 6 weeks away and I am getting worried if this style of benching doesnt work for me. Im just rambling on, nervous about doing shitty at the meet I guess. Tips?

I don't use a shirt but I will tell you that learning to use the shirt is an art. Everyone is different, some get more than others from a shirt but with practice you learn how to maximize it. This is attention to detail and most importantly, time under the bar.

If this is your second time in a shirt, it's not like there's a career at risk. Enjoy the meet, enjoy training for it. If you don't have a lot of confidence go with slam dunk openners. It's about you doing what you like. People spend way too much time worrying about a distant event and not enough time enjoying the road that takes them there. Do it right, don't be sloppy but don't worry about it and focus on the reasons you like lifting to begin with. We spend a lot more time on paths than we do at destinations so best appreciate them and enjoy the journey. That's my best advice anyway.
