If buying to filter, are there any recommendations on sterilized stopper/vial bundles? If not, individually what would be suggested?

Honestly PTFE is sufficient but the cost of these stoppers are in cents..

Well... I just grabbed a sust and a deca to check for fun and did not expect what I found:

Sust: Popped cap off- guess I will be digging a bit a transferring to another vial, which sucks because I have a good number of these.



Deca: Not great. Went to flip off the cap and the whole shit just came up. I stopped there and am not sure if I should just filter and revial or chuck it. Thankfully I don't have too many of these.

I think it's just the lighting. I looked it over up close and didn't see anything funky.

I’ve mentioned these cheap, thin aluminum caps before. Gotta go along with the stoppers.

All the info was shared on how to switch to decent vial seals and stoppers. Then crimp properly.

These were exclusively used based on Primal's post except for the short silicone run.

Now look at the specs on those butyl rubber stoppers. No paperwork or origin info as far as I can see. Compare to the class 6 stoppers I linked to.

I am going to put myself in Primal's shoes on this one. I would be pissed. Goes to show how important stopper formulation and specs are on injection vial stoppers. Fortunately there are very good and extremely cheap alternatives. And I appreciate @Primal_Pharma switching on new vials as soon as possible.

As far as product already out there, you know the drill. Serious risk of stopper falling apart and into your anabolic go-go juice every time you draw. Not even going down the leaching rabbit hole when you invert the vial.

I wish he would just throw away the ten million crap stoppers he has and make the switch on the very next brew.

I've mentioned them too and was told it's my fault somehow the paint comes off when I alcohol swab them.

I tossed them (the Decas). Popped the seals off and this is what they looked like. I don't know if that's under-crimped or just not crimped, but that's what they looked like off the vial.

I don’t see how there’s any option other than this

Did you notice a degregation of the stopper?

I'd pull it out of the aluminum and look it over good.

Play with it a little and see if the rubber starts chunking off.

Stopper looks brand new. No cracking, chunking, splits, or any sign of degradation. It came right out of the aluminum cap without issue and I don't see any issues with the stopper itself.
