I was skimming thru this thread and there was some members bringing up testing showing Primal was re selling Chinese primo. I get that people were annoyed because they were told that primo was made from old raws and isn't just Chinese oil.

My question is, if that primo was from the 3 letter Chinese sellers and was simply re bottled and label slapped on, is that oil safe to use? If not, how come I don't see more people reporting issues with the Chinese primo in the 3 letter Chinese vendor threads?

It hasn’t killed me yet… not even a lump… and you know what they say about gift horses… the land of the blind… etc

Most of the time these oils get re-filtered a few times just to be safe, so the oil itself usually isn’t the main issue. The bigger problem tends to be what’s actually inside the carrier oil. EO shows up fairly often, and that’s what usually causes allergic reactions, nasty pip, inflammation, redness, and that classic “why did I do this” moment after pinning.

That said, only a smaller percentage of people seem to react badly, which is why you don’t see nonstop horror stories in those threads. Plenty of guys run these oils with zero issues and never post because nothing exciting happened.

So is it safe for everyone? Probably not. Is it fine for most people? Based on how many keep using it without problems, it seems so.

pack TD, I feel as if the packaging is pretty secure. I know a guy several days ago mentioned a vial breaking but not leaking through the packaging, which is great. But it looks like the Grand ole postal didn’t use my shit as a hockey puck

Is there no process to filter impurities and create a 100% pure product before brewing? What exactly are the impurities anyway? And lastly does pharma manufacturers get purer starting products?

there is a process to do this and it works, however its not a process that will be mass adopted by all sources and its labor intensive and pretty annoying to do. ideally speaking these manufactures would just get it together and make it right but middle man sell whatever they can get their hands on and we fight for the scraps. i have a thread on this subject called "save your unusable raws" the process on paper is working out and a few smart users are getting success. Just dont expect most any source to apply the process in practice as not only will it eat into time it also eats into R&D. Even i find it cumbersome and annoying. However there is a way to process raws and get very pure raw material to work with if your so inclined
