There’s been a lot of talk lately that coring is coming from the older stoppers, so I want to test this myself. For that, I’ll be using 18g, 20g, 22g, and 23g needles.

For context, my entire Primal stash is still completely unopened. I have Test C, Tren E, EQ, Primo E (last batch), Mast E (which I’d rather not sacrifice if possible), Deca, and NPP. I’ll start with an older batch that has the older stoppers and see if any coring shows up depending on needle size. If I notice anything concerning, I’ll report back.

I've pinned the shit out of 3-4 bottles of test c with the older stoppers using a 25 and had zero coring. No issues with tren or eq and old stoppers either. I store everything upright, so no solvents on the stoppers beyond whatever happened during shipping.

It didn't occur to me that the size of needles would make any difference but it actually makes perfect sense. Someone on the forum has advised against using needles larger than 22G in order to keep the stopper in a better shape for multi pins.

Yeah, I’m with you. I don’t think 25g is an issue at all either, I’ve drawn plenty with 25g and never seen coring myself (not Primal gear). My guess is the guys having problems are using much larger needles. I was mostly just curious and wanted to see it firsthand. Appreciate you sharing your experience.

no coring issues with 21-23g either in my experience

I’m noticing if I use anything over 22g my topper leaks. I had to draw with 16g to prevent spilling.

I've used 21g to draw with primals old stoppers as well. No floaters. No issues. I've used tren a, test c and test p 100mg and 200mg all old stoppers no issues.

Im currently using 20g to draw on the old old stoppers, older, and newest stoppers. No issues for me, I used 18 for awhile as well.

I’m a newbie that has learned from trial and error the last 5 yrs….started with 18g to withdraw and 22g to inject

So far had success using 21g to withdraw and 25g to inject…..(had coring using 18g with neo products)

I’m slow I meant the opposite I leak with 18g

Don’t leak with 22g and up

Definitely had coring when using an 18ga to draw before filtering. I fully expected coring to happen and they were caught in the filter when I was done. Never used anything bigger than 25ga for drawing but my biggest shots were .75ml.

When you say filtering wdym? Am I supposed to be doing that. I’ve been pinning for 3 years now haven’t heard of filtering *gulp

No you’re fine, I was just combining some things to a bigger mixed vial. Figured I would send through a filter if I was moving vials anyways

If you trust a source in conditions you can’t verify and feel like they are doing everything correct at a high sales volume then sure don’t filter. Are they changing their filters like they should? Are they cleaning flask and tubing? Do they have the correct sterile environment and flow hood? Have I pinned gear not filtered? Sure. Do I filter it now regardless the vendor for my own self protection? Yes. It only takes one oopsie from a source to result in you getting a chunk cut out of your quad. It’s your decision brother. It’s relatively inexpensive. Get the setup to do it and practice with some oil from a store so you get an idea and the hang of it before you attempt on a bottle you purchased. I practiced on old bottles of things I used before I ever got going with my good stuff. I’m an old head but guaranteed one or someone will tell some story about back in the day. Yeah I remember back in the day too but why can’t we progress and be smarter.
