I’m noticing if I use anything over 22g my topper leaks. I had to draw with 16g to prevent spilling.

Try not side loading the needle while drawing.

With all the coring talk here is a study posted by photon. Based on this study of multi dose vials with rubber stoppers at different draw angles the largest needle to be used is 21g at 45 degree angle to draw unless filtering. 22g would likely be even better. If the stopper is degraded at all then for sure filter.

If you trust a source in conditions you can’t verify and feel like they are doing everything correct at a high sales volume then sure don’t filter. Are they changing their filters like they should? Are they cleaning flask and tubing? Do they have the correct sterile environment and flow hood? Have I pinned gear not filtered? Sure. Do I filter it now regardless the vendor for my own self protection? Yes. It only takes one oopsie from a source to result in you getting a chunk cut out of your quad. It’s your decision brother. It’s relatively inexpensive. Get the setup to do it and practice with some oil from a store so you get an idea and the hang of it before you attempt on a bottle you purchased. I practiced on old bottles of things I used before I ever got going with my good stuff. I’m an old head but guaranteed one or someone will tell some story about back in the day. Yeah I remember back in the day too but why can’t we progress and be smarter.
