Primo for an mma fighter?

In all honesty I weigh 155 lbs and fight at flyweight (125)
So how does that work? You come in, you make weight, 124.5 on the scale, then what? How long to you have to hydrate and eat before you actually fight? How much do you end up weighing at the fight? Are you still drained from dropping water and such?

I normally start camp around 150. 8 weeks out. I try to lose about 1-2 lbs a week. So at 1 week out I’m ideally around 137-139lbs.

Sunday/Monday fight week is where I’m only eating protein and a some fats. I might have some fruit pre workout but I’m essentially limiting carbs and salt. (Things that hold water)

That combined with water loading can get me to about 132-133.
From there the rest is cut through a hot bath or sauna. I hate the sauna because your head goes in the heat and it cools your brain and gives you a headache.

I have about 24 hours to rehydrate. First hour or two is all electrolytes like liquid ivs and such. Some people like the carb powders like vitargo but I don’t like doing those.

I can get back up to around 143-145.
Your body isn’t ever fully recovered so I always feel some fatigue. Like I need more rest than normal. But it’s just a 15 minute fight so it’s not a big deal.

It’s only bad if you start too heavy and absolutely starve fight week, cut too much water, and then end up blowing back up to a fat and soft 150. I’ve done that and I felt sluggish and just slower on my feet.

But yeah that’s the jist

Mostly because of the cancer. Also Tbol is supposed to be a great steroid for athletics. Even better than cardarine from what I’ve read.

But yeah the cancer risk is not worth it to me. Couldn’t even get to human trials
Tbol and cardarine are completely different drugs in terms of the effects they elicit. Cardarine will help improve one’s glycolytic (somewhat) and mostly oxidative energy systems work capacity. No effect on muscle mass and strength acquisition.

Tbol’s capability improve glycolytic work capacity has never actually been tested. It certainly was the breakfast of many (if not all) members of the East German Olympic team before the Berlin Wall came down. But that’s partially because the East Germans wanted to make a better dbol since everything was a competition between East and West.

How much more beneficial is tbol than (for ex) Anavar, winstrol, etc? I suppose one would need to try it for themselves to determine that.

So you put on almost 20 pounds in 24 hours. That's amazing.

Thanks for answering. This is one of those things I wonder about every time I watch UFC.
