Prison for Chandler man who sold steroids

[SIZE=-1]A federal judge in Connecticut has sentenced a Chandler man to a year in prison for distributing anabolic steroids over the internet.
The U.S. attorney's office for Connecticut district says Matthew J. Peltz admitted conspiring with two other Arizonans to import a pound of raw steroid powder from China, manufacture steroids in home laboratories and distribute them through an Internet Web site they created.
The 37-year-old was caught up in an investigation run by federal agents in Connecticut called Operation Phony Pharm. He pleaded guilty in 2007.
Peltz was sentenced by a judge in New Haven on Thursday. His co-defendants were sentenced last year.
