Read in USA Today(Thursday OCT 7) that Senate has pass law to add 18 more adrogens to the banned list and that congress just needs to repackaged a deal with the Senate for it to pass. Damn!!

Funny thing is, according to Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO, the American public has been given the illusion of freedoms.According to Maher, the only real freedoms Americans have are "Smoking or non-smoking?" and "Aisle or window?" Real liberties are being stripped away from U.S. citizens and even more restrictions and monitoring are being imposed (look no further than the USA Patriot Act). How many of you are aware that every transaction over a certain amount at Western Union is reported to the authorities along with your personal data? Terrorism you say?

Believe me I am by no means on the left or right, but the actions of the world's greatest democracy has a trickle down effect for the other 188 United Nations member states. Guess we'll just have to wait and see if there is any hope at all when November comes around. It will be a fun day when you can get busted for BCAA's

great post we think alike my friend.

Pro hormones-The prohormone companies are obviously using this window of legality to push their weak pretty much useless product and profit off this B.S legislation.
This whole situation is making me sick.
It does not matter really cause the uninformed consumer will save money on a useless product once they are illegal.

Great minds always do :p

I do agree with you. With the exception of M1T, I have yet to encounter a pro-hormone/steroid that can really hold its own against already blacklisted AAS (yes, even granted that the pro-hormones/pro-steroids are chemically bonafide steroids themselves).Hey but somebody has to make a buck right? All that is going to happen now is that within a few months, possibly years, when all the legitimate stockpiles of pro-hormones have been completely depleted, the profits will simply switch over to the underground market suppliers.

I really don't have a problem with any of the above except the fact that this decision was made for the apparent safety of nine year olds who steal their parents money and scoot on down to GNC to score a hit of Animal Stack.Come on, are these lawmakers for real?!.If these were one of the reasons it was banned (another being the BALCO/baseball/track and field BS...another story) why not just enact leagislation that keeps it outta the hands of minors under 21,much like alcohol and tobacco (not like the legislation works for those either).

Man,the situation is getting outta control and it is only going to get worse.I even hear of talk that the EU is looking to severely restrict the sale of many everyday vitamins and herbal supps in it's member states and have the recommendations put under Codex Alimentarius which means this crap doesn't just affect the EU,it affects all UN member states...WTF?! Why is that being done? The premise is that after decades of using vitamins and supps without much problems, EU doctors are suddenly concerned with the potential hazards of self medicating one's self.Wow, better toss out that Redoxon cause you can OD on Vit C! Complete BS.They'll never tell you that big pharma is losing tons over herbal supps that work just as well or even better than their ridiculously priced script meds.

The good (or sometimes bad) thing is that once this crap happens, the underground market will be there to supply. It really is ridiculous, but such is the way of the rich mans world.Remember that when you walk into the booth on Nov 2.

I don't know much about the above EU vitamin/med situation
and i am drifting off topic here but after being in europe for almost a month this summer the whole EU concept is very unpopular there. They see it as the whole being homogenized and it has absolutely killed the poorer countries with inflation. The richer members think that they put all the euros in and the poor countries will profit at the richers expense.
Europeans have 100's of years of cultural differences that they
cherish
and now this is seen as a threat and only done so Europe can
be a more competitve force in the global economy.
I still love europe and it's women :)

Bros, I keep seeing this nonsense about ephedrine(ephedra) being banned. It hasn't! You can buy it at any walgreen's store, it's ephedrine HCL.Combine it with caffeine and you're ready to go.

trenfactor - Amen brother. This shit has got to stop at some point. We all know that AAS is better than most prohormones, but the idea of taking all this shit and making it illegal is getting out of hand. Next thier talking about synephrine and yohimbe being banned. Yohimbe for christ sake!

It's ridiculous isn't it. The supplement industry will take a beating from the ban that's for sure prohormones are their bread and butter . The prices on these prohormones are insane. Futhermore, 99% of them are just hype and don't do shit except cause zits and and a empty wallet. Why not just get a few bottles of test and get results? I don't think creatine will get banned. The only creatine I like is V-12 by SAN it gives some good pumps

Personally, I'd rather the government focus on taking care of those people that are looking to kill us for ideology rather than pass legislation that might keep some dumb kid from swallowing 2000Mg of ephedra before footbal practice in August, but that's just me.

Those of you who think this law doesn't matter because PH's are shit anyway, try to look at the larger picture. The gov already bans SEVERAL naturally occurring substances that are far less harmful than a single can of beer and every time they expand these laws they're creeping ever further into everyone's private life.

Gotta bump these great posts you have been making Tren! The US Govt is beyond redemption, they are passing overbearing controlling laws with impunity now. Looks like the slogan 'New World Order' is coming to fruition and is no longer an empty phrase.

Thanks. I don't live in the US but I have been there so many times that I have visited throughout the years that I've even considered buying myself a nice little vacation home in a beach town somewhere on the coast. You guys have some truly beautiful spots all over and small towns where it would be safe and nice to raise kids.

However, when I've looked at some of the rediculous legislation that has been enacted which could amount to me getting my door busted in for ordering ephedra and M1T, I have a problem with that.Lifting and exercise in general has always been very important in my life and it just so happen that these products come along with the territory (at least for me).I am not ready to cede such a freedom so easily. Also recently heard about Patriot Act 2 which gives law enforcement even broader powers.I am all for security, give the dept of Homeland Security and domestic intelligence agencies an increased budget, no problem. But history has revealed that there will always be abuses of power.I believe that it was recently determined (can't remember the source, but heard about it after the second debate) that Ashcroft was found guilty of using the powers within the Patriot Act that were highly inconsistent with the reasons for which the legislation was enacted.

As ImaBldr said, it's really a part of the bigger political, social and economic picture.BTW,think I'm gonna head on down to the cine now to catch Farenheit 9/11...heard it was really good and insightful.Cheers.

It seems to me that those old frail politicians are just scared of big, strong, ripped people. People who aren't fat and sloppy. People like you and me, most of us(I think) do this for our own personal improvment. I like to look and feel better. The goverment should have no say on what I take to construct myself. Now if there were BBs all strung out on Test and Dbol, robbing kids and breaking into houses, that would be a little diffrent :D LMAO hey man...got a cc? just one bro?? you know I am good for it :p
