Progesterone in oil

Looking for some info on progesterone in oil recipes. I've found 2 main versions
1. 100mg/ml in EO with 20?!?!?% BA (400mg of BA in 2ml yields .382ml in 2ml)
2. 50mg/ml in sesame oil with 10% BA
-Is progesterone similar to TNE in that its uniquely soluble in BA and thats why they run it so high?
-Has anyone seen any recipes different than these?
-Would adding BB help lower to BA level to something more reasonable?

This would be used for a woman's HRT so its for long term use.

But you find the EO stuff to be pip free? Thats interesting, its double the concentration and seems to have even more BA in it. Thats very helpful, thanks. I know the normal dose of oral progesterone is 100-300mg per day. Can you ballpark a dose of injectable P? I'm trying to get a sense of the volume needing to be injected.

just use MIGlyol 812, Cottonseed or Castor with a bit higher BA, no reason to use subpar oils. EO? why? Sesame? again, why? its not particularly good at anything.

just try 50mg/ml @7.5% BA 25% BB in castor. should hold easily. Castor is great fo any non-esterfied compounds (TrNE, TNE, E2 base, Prog, etc.)

it probably holds more than just 50mg/ml, but you can always experiment with higher mg/ml. not like progesterone is expensive.

but for christs sake, dont use sesame oil for your injectables. might as well use Olive oil from the local farmers market.

TLDR:
use castor.
pharma womens HRT oil choices are made by absolute speds using their short bus reasoning skills.

Also, always pin IM, and invest in good, sharp thin walled needles and heat the oil to at least body temp before pinning.

Yea I'm definitely not using sesame oil. I love Test in castor oil. It would be interesting to see if castor oil raised the half life enough to go to EOD injection. If it were going into my body I'd for sure give it a try, but I'm much less willing to use a loved one as a guinea pig.

Look up Makena.

Makena is a clear, yellow, sterile, non-pyrogenic solution for intramuscular injection. Each 5 mL multidose vial contains hydroxyprogesterone caproate USP, 250 mg/mL (25% w/v), in castor oil USP (28.6% v/v) and benzyl benzoate USP (46% v/v) with the preservative benzyl alcohol NF (2% v/v).

Oh hey, that's the same formula as nebido.
I'd brew using the same formula with 15% less BB and more castor/mix with MCT.

I just got progesterone in and was going back and forth with ChatGPT over the carrier oil. I just want to state I don’t fully trust it so I am not sure what I am going to do but apparently pure castor oil is not a good carrier oil for progesterone because of how it is used. There is no ester attached to the progesterone so the rate of release is solely based on the oil and solvent combo. This could be a reason that BB isn’t used in pharma. If it releases too quickly it can cause issues and too slowly will leave it in the system longer than wanted. My wife is cycling it so this would be a problem. I also like the MCT/castor oil mix and I know it helps with pip. I am ok experimenting on myself but my wife might not be as receptive to it. lol

Basically it's not soluble in veggie oils. Make a suspension. I've linked an article to how it's more tolerable in a previous post

hydroxyprogesterone caproate Is not the formulation for HRT. I haven’t seen any pharma recipes that have BB in it.
