Hello guys, have any of you guys used Propecia?My doctor is about to prescribe me some in about 2 months when I go back, I'm starting to get a receding hair line and thinner hair just up around my forehead and temple.I am not bald, but it runs in my family.How have your experiences with Propecia been, did you lose any more hair, did you grow any back?Any negative side effects?Thanks bro's.

i ahve been on it for about 2 years now. not sure if i started to lose, or just getting paranoid. i am 32 and my younger bro started losing at 18. it is not supposed to do anything for the temple region just around the crown. where most guys get "the spot". after about 9 mos on it nothing came out anymore, even when wet. but during and after my cycle. it picked up again. i dont notice anything on top but it come out when i brush it when wet. might jsut be cause it is halfway down my back. dont know. i do know it is expensive. have you got prices yet? pm me if you cheaper places to get it w/o prescriptions. good luck either way. how old are you, BTW?

dude....i'm 34, been on it for about 3 years...my baldness area was on top of my head...still thin up there, but it has gotten progressively thicker over the 3 yrs.....well worth it if you ask me.....but try to find it in another country if you can....the best price i ever found was the 5mg pill in brasil....whack it p into fourths and u r good to go.....

See if you can get you doctor to prescribe PROSCAR instead. Same drug(finestride) but 5mg(proscar) instead of 1mg(propecia) and alot cheaper. PLUS you can get a tab cutter and cut PROSCAR into 4 pieces giving 4x's as much...cLeRks

H has 60mls of proscar 5mg/ml for $25. Thats an 8 month supply. That cannot be beat. I am thin on top and started using it about 2 weeks ago along with nizoral 2% so we will see

Sorry to be a downer but.... thinning hair in the front and sides do not usually do well with any of the current hair drugs. They are not able to target this type of male pattern baldness.

I was on the stuff along with Rogain for 3 years.
It still slips away and it is a very expensive endeavor.
You're on it for life.

You also loose a bit of wood... for at least a few months till you get used to it.

Save your money... buy some clippers and buzz it all off.
Spend your money on something you KNOW you are going to get results from.
Like good clean AAS. lol
