Hello Meso

Im a transplant from Evo. Was there lurking for a year or so and asking questions. For a noob I found some good information. Which aided me in my results. I'm hoping to continue learning and hopefully be able to give back in the future.

I've gone from being in great shape to being in terrible shape. I'm blessed to now be in a better place now but still working to uncover a better me. Through it all I've made mistakes that are now wrecking hell on my body.

I've been on TRT for about a year and a half now. This all started with me trying to lose weight by doing a No Carb Diet. I lost 60lbs in 6weeks but found myself in the worst shape of my life. I lost so much strength that at one point, getting up from a kneeling position was impossible without assistance. So after some blood work and doctor visits, it was explained to me that the weight I lost was mainly muscle. That my testosterone levels were so low that when I cut my carbs, my body fed on muscle instead of fat (or something to that nature).

I was put in 200mg/10days. After a few months, I began to regain my strength and feel much better. For me this isn't just about gaining muscle but something that I will be on for the rest of my life. So I'm here to educate myself on it.

200/10 was ok on the beginning but eventually started learning of options in my protocol and found my Dr to not be very open to discussions to change this instead he pushed pellets, which didn't sound like a good option for me. So I started with changing the needle I inject with. Huge difference. I went from using a 21x1.5 to a 25x1.5. Then changed my protocol to 100mg/5 days to help with the energy swings. Def much better. This time around I held off on shots for a bit and began a 200mg/7days protocol. This is def the sweet spot for me. But now other concerns arise. What about estrogen? So I started looking into Aromasin. But... with my Dr not being open to discussion about this I began to look to self medicate.

This is what brought me here. Was going to place an order through a Source that is heavily pushed through EVO, when I came accross a thread talking about that source and the validity of the sources on EVO. So here I am, hoping to gain some knowledge to continue in my health journey.

Welcome to Meso @Desufnoc

Glad your back on track bro.

Did your doctor prescribe you hcg?

If your getting bloods done often and your estrogen isnt high then you dont need an AI. But its good to have on hand just in case.

Nope. Straight Cyp. Only issues he has mentioned is my hemoglobin getting high. He recommended I donate blood. He did mention estrogen getting higher but simply talked about lower my protocol if i was sensitive to it. He also kept pushing pellets. Almost every time I go, he asks me if I'm Interetested in pellets.

Do you know the exact numbers of your estrogen? I wouldnt want him to lower your protocol.

I no longer remember. I'm going to get some labs done in the next week or so to get a baseline on my levels based off of a 200/7 protocol; what panel do you recommend?

I would like to get this under control and steady. Make sure my day to day is steady, get my diet in order, hit the gym in a weekly basis (already work a physically demanding job in the oilfields). And eventually blast a few times a year; maybe try something for dry hard strength. But that requires a whole lot more reading, research and knowledge. I'm 35 do I need to keep my health in order, don't heal like when I was young and in the service.
