Prostate issues

I am 38 and I haven't touched gear for 8 years. Prior to that I was on and off for 3-4 years. ages 27-30. I didn't take as much time off as I should have in between, but I also didn't get crazy with my doses except once. I used a sustanon amp EOD and 400mg of deca per week so that is 875mg of test and 400mg deca for 12 weeks. I rarely used an anti-estrogen as in anastrazole bc at the time it seemed the mantra was only use anti-estrogen if you need it (ie: gyno/huge bloat). I didn't have these sides. Anywhay, I have been watching some of these Rand McClain videos and other TRT guys and all they seem to fucking talk about is anastrozole. Like TRT guys prophylactically on on 2 mg a week. I thought this was a joke but I guess I'm wrong I mean when I started people were taking 500mg of test and "use an antiestrogen if you need it" not take 100-200mg per week on TRT and start bombing yourself with anti estrogens on your first injection. Maybe I am an idiot.

Anyways, I see a urologist every year who draws my test and PSA. Almost always 300-400ng/dl (which is low in my mind of course) and PSA around 1.0 which seems fine. Last year I go in and after doing intermittent fasting for 6 months and getting to about 8 percent bodyfat which is about 20lbs less than I usually carry, my total test comes back in the mid 500s. Yay I'm cured! I tell this to myself... 7 years later I'm cured. Then I do this year and my fucking PSA is 2.0 and my total test 200ng/dl. Like wtf are these even my numbers? So I go to a new uro bc this guy just tells me to redraw them. New uro draws them PSA is 1.7 and my free PSA% is 29% which is an indicator lower risk of cancer. My total test is 350ng on this test.

No, throughout the years I deal with prostate flareups that have been diagnosed as prostatitis. I have done antibiotic courses without curing it. Lingering burn after I ejaculate that lasts for an hour or so. Lately it has seem to be a decent flareup it even burns at times when I piss in the morning. Hard to tell where it originates in the pelvis. All cultures negative, no STDs. My new uro gave 6 week treatment of anti inflammatories. Well I finished it no help. I see him next week. I'm beginning to think I have some sort of BPH causing this problem but I had a digital rectal exam and he didn't mention it. It's a terribly vexing problem. Anyone have any similar experience or advice? The reason I ask is bc I want to pursue TRT at this point in my life. I want to live better. My uro seems to think my steroid use didn't matter in any way.

I also have prostatitis. I’m 31 and I have run multiple antibiotics but still have small flair-ups. It’s manageable now, but I’m just waiting to knock the fiancé up after the honeymoon and I’m hoping on TRT. I’m going to give Cialis a try soon.

What are your symptoms? Do you have a bit of burning after ejaculation and sometimes with urinations?

Get on 5mg of cialis daily, go get the supplement called "force flow", I believe i was having prostate issues/inflammation for awhile as I could not stop pissing. I would literally wake up 5x or more per night to piss and I at first thought it was water retention, then I got thinking there is no way that this shit is normal. Got on that force flow supplement and within 2 days I was sleeping all night long

I have no problems sleeping due to urination though. I just have pelvic burning. I do urinate a lot but I drink all day. I don't want to diagnose this and treat this myself. I want to be able to ask or push my urologist into the right tests/direction assuming he can help.

I’ve gotten to the point of of dealing with symptoms were I think I’ve mastered it lol, but I only get that when I’m dehydrated and have drank a high caffeine dark roast coffee. And I will only be for a few urinations after.

I’ve been to a few doctors with no help, they instantly say your too young and dismiss anything I say.
After the last visit I was so pissed I barged into the guys office told him to put the phone down and explained to him all I was looking for was a prescription for Cialis, not for boners or better sex but hopefully to alleviate some of my discomfort. Can’t wait to try Cialis and will have to look into force flow

The dehydration part is interesting bc my urine tends to burn in the morning when it is more concentrated. It also burns if I piss after ejaculation and then the prostate burning will start and go for an hour. Nonbacterial prostatitis is extremely difficult to treat. I have been battling this for years. This uro was pretty thorough though... this was the first doc who treated me a long acting anti inflammatory called Daypro. He ran a lot of tests and even checked a marker beyond PSA (PSA free %). He did say that my PSA was high for my age but who the hell even knows what that means in the grand scheme of things.

Brother, I hate to say this but some of those symptoms are common signs of prostate cancer. You need to see a specialist

You'd definitely want to rule out cancer so be sure to see a specialist to ensure you don't have it. Performing a PSA test isn't always indicative of whether or not you have prostate cancer. There have been instances where PSA test readings appeared normal but prostate cancer is there. Although in your case I wouldn't be too worried. The percentage of people with normal PSA readings who actually have cancer is 15%. I think they'd need to do a biopsy for to determine for certain in all cases.

Aside from that it looks like your testosterone levels are gradually dropping. I wonder if estrogen levels might be the culprit. For me personally, when I forget to inject my HRT dose (I do two mini shots every three to four days) my prostate starts to flare up. I can only speculate but I think it has to do with my testosterone levels plummeting. I also take .5mg of anastrazole three or four times weekly. Again, this is only anecdotal but I often wonder when I forget to take my anastrazole if it's affecting my prostate. I'm very gyno prone so I get a script for mine.

The other thing they say to help keep a healthy prostate is to ejaculate at least once a day. You flush the prostate out and this, according to numerous studies, appears to help stave off prostate cancer. At the very worst if it doesn't cost anything and you at least get to have more fun with yourself and/or a lucky someone. :D

You might want to look into your diet, too. Here's an article suggesting that eating red grapes, apples and turmeric can help starve cancer cells:

Turmeric, red grape and apple can prevent prostate cancer | Daily Mail Online

Also, read an article years ago that claimed if a man stopped eating all red meat that he'll reduce his risk of prostate cancer by a whopping 80%.

Hope it's nothing serious. But you might want to look at your diet to see if what you eat might not be all that great for your prostate.
