Prostate study

The study from Oxford University identified that elevated levels of free testosterone and insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) are linked to an increased risk of aggressive prostate cancer.

It in no way is predictive yet. While these associations are strong, it is not yet a fully developed or clinically applied predictive tool. The research lays the groundwork for further exploration into whether these hormone levels could be used reliably in clinical settings to predict aggressive prostate cancer and inform preventive or treatment strategies. More validation and research are needed before it becomes predictive in practice.
