PVDF Vacuum Filter setup

Ok, so I use 47mm .22um PVDF filters for filtering oil with a sintered glass lab apparatus. Sterilize them before use, yada yada. There are at least two different filter versions; a hydrophobic and hydrophilic version. It seems to take forever to filter 100ml, and I'm wondering if the hydrophilic filters I've been using aren't the best option. Does anyone know if it is phobic or phylic filters that work better with oil, bb and ba?? Its just taking so dan long to filter. Ive used millipore disposable bottle top ones and they go about 2-3X as fast as this "New and improved" setup. any thoughts?

I'd assume hydrophobic since "phobic" in the medical sense refers to not liking "hydro" which is water. Since your filtering oil, I am guessing hydrophobic resists passing water through.
