Yeah nice story too bad you are talking in general I'm talking regarding a specific thing. This is very untrue actually. There's a bell curve for people who have money and how they spend it.
The people who genuinely have money to spend still save it. I work in finance and I can tell you right now the folks who have that mercedes, corvette, etc. are barely getting by more than half the time. The vast majority of the country doesn't even have 10k in their bank account, yet how many people do you see in big ass houses with nice new cars? I used to only order US domestic sources because of brand loyalty and I was broke as fuck. I make 3x the salary now and would gladly order a bunch of oral raws from China and cap them myself than spend 10x the price to get it from someone who is "cleaner" (it's the same drug). Do you know where your US domestic sources get everything from? Probably one of the dirty chinese labs too.
TRULY rich people cut costs wherever they can. That's how they maintain being truly rich. I REGULARLY deny lawyers, doctors, business owners, etc. financial products because they fuck up their expenses so bad that they can't be trusted to pay it back. "more money more problems" is a very real saying.
Obviously there are outliers like pop icons taking private jets everywhere- but the most financially responsible people in the real world are still driving a paid off toyota camry while the hotshot lawyer is opening multiple credit card lines to buy their custom steroid oils and not get their wife's G Wagon impounded.
If you actually cared about your health that much you wouldn't be taking steroids to begin with. I don't care about the argument and didn't even read the posts before this- but there's a difference between being rich and being wealthy. Rich people go broke to prove that they're rich. Wealthy people live modest lives and pass it down.
If you have an hobby and you are rich are you gonna spend your money for low quality shit or get the best of the best that you can afford?
I personally know few millionaires and sure as hell for the stuff they care and love they do spend quite a lot of money, completely understandable what the fuck have you earned all those money if you can't afford a BETTER life than other ppl?
See that's the issue, you think with better I mean just more expensive stuff or more stuff in general.
Nope. I don't know what you like but for example have you ever bought something made of leather? So you can buy for example a LV leather bag (cool sure, lots of money) but not really that high quality and still mass produced (kinda), or you can go to one of those few niche almost extinct shop that works leather in a way where they can't even push the quantity of a big brand but the quality... Oh boy the quality
Food? Same shit, you can go to do food shopping in Walmart or you can go to small producers where their life is providing quality food for just a few and the price well the price is very high but the taste and the emotions that you will experience through that food
You can be financially minded without being a fucking hobo or a wannabe billionaire without having the money for it and go broke trying to look like one.
It's not like we are talking about spending millions on gear anyway, we are talking pocket money for any 1% earner of any country that is not a third world country.
So be fucking real.
