Hopefully somebody can help me with this. My girl and I just bought a house togethor and she has a 1 yr old black lab. The issue is that she snores so f-ing loud I can't fall asleep at night. Is there any way to stop this? I have tried listening to my headphones, TV but nothing blocks it out. Hopefully someone has some cure. Thanks bros.

Dog question

That is the route I have been taking. I took her bed and put it in another bedroom. I never thought a 65lb dog could snore so loud. Thanks

not much you can do other than moving the dog. I actaully sleep better with my dog snoring. Good rhythm

maxx what type of dog do you have? i am looking to get a bully in feb. but am open to any breed of large dog. trying to get opinions and facts on other breeds. looked at debordeaux's but they are not too bright from what i was told from a guy that showed them and also tend to be dog aggressive.

i have an english mastiff...bordeaux's are very smart theyre just stubborn.what kind of bull are you looking at?all male dogs tend to be "dog" amd maybe people aggressive if not well socialized.

Get some ear plugs. The little yellow ones used in construction and aviation rule. For me, they can block out someone snoring yet still allow me to wake up to my alarm (which is far from loud).

Gotta love labs. Mine used to snore all the time, too.

We have 2 Pits and a French Bulldog. They all snore like crazy. We crate trained them from the time they were puppies. They all sleep in kennels at night. We have let them out at night to see what they would do (jump on couch or bed like they do during the day) but they just want to go back to the kennel. I have a hard anough time sleeping without a snoring dog. If its driving you crazy find it a different place to sleep.

boot that damn dog outside. I would nver let a dog interrupt one of the most important aspects of your 24 hour day. As for a big and intelligent dog I will always recommend a Rottweiler. A well bred Rotty is a truely magnificent dog

Thanks for all the replies bros. Maxx I was looking at a Bull Mastiff but still want a debordeaux so I am up in the air. My old roomie has a rottie and he is a very good dog so I am also looking at those. Too many puppy mills around trying to make a buck so I have to research a good breader in the New England area for any type dog.

bulls are more aggresive natured and stubborn than an english.english are much better with childern and other dogs than a bull on the most part there are many factors that play part to that though.bordeaux's and english mastiffs would be the best route if you have the time and money for them (they are very dependent on human attention).if your are looking for a good mastiff breeder contact me i know many and they ship dogs regularly.they have show and pet quality dogs...after having this one i will never have another breed.he is the most loyal, obedient and if needed guard dog.they are very protective of thier house, yard and truck of strangers.mastiffs are not dogs to leave outside and only see when you feed him,he must be a part of the famliy.going through a breeder (reputable) is like adopting a child...they will have you fill out a buyer screening app. thats what do anyway.if need any help let me know.

I was going some research on the English Mastiff and must say I am extremely impressed. Maxx what is the typical price of a house pet (not for showing). I am very interested in the breed if you have any info you could send me and if you have a breeder I might b eable to contact that would be awesome. Thanks.

anywhere from 800.00 to 2000.00 depending the blood line and availiblity for the dogs.never go for the cheapest dogs, always get from a breeder with a good rep.in my opinion it money well spent.ill get you some info on some breeders also you can go to the akc web site and they have a search or number to call for breeders...they used to anyway.

Thanks Maxx. My sister has two Tibetan Mastiffs and I learned from her the same thing you said. Don't go with the cheapest but rather the most reputable breeder you can.

What timing for this thread...... I just put my dog to sleep 2 days ago. I am looking into my next puppy and it is gonna be a dogue de bordeaux. I'm looking at breeders as we speak.....
