I know its a longshot but im hoping dr scally sees this and can help my figure out whats going on , ive asked diff doctors already and both sides have diff anwsers so im a bit confused, basicly ive been taking 600iu HCG daily for the past month thats about 4200 iu weekly, and now after a month HCG just stopped working and im panicking! im thinking i probly burned out my leydig cells and im just so pissed off and worried that i finished off my testicles for good, my E2 is ok its around 20 pg/ml so i know its not E2 issues , also my HCG is fine i mixed it correctly didnt shake it nothing wrong with the HCG , so now here i am confused,frustrated, and worried dont know whats going on, im going to try to give my testicles a break for a month then try again at a much lower dose, but my main concern is that i burned out my leydig cells for good and made myself primary could this have happened at this dose and for a month long? thanks in advance.

You did not burn out your leydig cells. This does not happen. The worst thing that could have happened is LH receptor downregulation due to the high amount of hcg you used. In which case all ur body needs is a little time away from hcg for the receptors to upregulate again. The whole leydig cell desensitization shit is just that. It gets people all scared and for no reason. The people who keep propagating this myth ought to be ashamed of themselves. Take a week or two off, and then start using it again at a much smaller dose. 100 ius a day maybe
How about some labs? Where are you getting this recommended treatment? And for what?
I do not know of a case where the Leydig Cells were "burned out" from hCG administration. If what you say is fact, publish this finding with the help of someone.

Hey dr.scally thank you for replying! , what labs should i post? i got quite a few of them , I was taking HCG to regrow my testicles and since i was secondary we wanted to see if it was going to be strong enough to be TRT on its own, definitely wasnt strong enough to be TRT on its own but still made me feel alot better than before! then it just stops working for no reason? E2 was fine at 20 pg/mal really dont know what whent wrong, my main concern is though in the near future once i start injections + HCG will HCG still work to produce some natural testosterone? or is my testicles now desentized to it forever? also ive hoping around a few forums for a while now and some people could swear that HCG has finished off there testicles for good so kinda confused at this point

Post those labs that lead you to believe in Leydig cell desensitization, including baseline. There are multiple studies with 5,000 IU twice weekly with no evidence of desensitization. There are many more studies with doses in the range you used. Like I said, if true, which I doubt, it is publishable as being unique (once in all of published literature). I would be willing to publish this as long as you supply the original labs, etc.
What about everyday frequent injections of 500iu every night that doesnt cause desentization either? so preety much what your saying is since i didnt burn my my leydig cells but HCG stopped working, if i take a break for two weeks then start again it should start working as good as it first was correct?
if u burned ur leydig cells then where this E2 is coming from? Testosterone converts to E2.
