Questions: cycle, bloodwork, info for us all

What did you interpret from that article in terms of gains? I think that's a more important question to ask.
I guess I should have delineated between lean mass and pure muscle. The article indicates that "Jim" gained 8 pounds of lean mass, lost a little fat, and retained strength gains as measured 2 weeks after his 2-week cycle. Lean mass is good enough for me.

Lean mass is a combination of glycogen, water retention, skeletal muscle tissue, organ weight, ligaments and tendons, etc. As you can see there's a big difference between muscle tissue and lean mass.

As Doc has explained lean mass and muscle tissue are often and mistakenly substituted for one another. If you gain 5lbs of muscle tissue in a 12 week cycle, let alone 2, youre doing very well.

Have you any idea what "lean mass" is fella?
DOC-D did a good job but I'll add Lean Mass is essentially TBW - TBF. Now that's a far cry from lean muscle mass which averages between 20-50% of LBM.

So although this Jim fella put on 8 lbs of LBM there is no way to tell how much of that weight gain was WATER!

The latter WILL be diuresed sooner rather than latter.

Perhaps you have been led astray but you WILL eventually lose ALL the muscle mass gained unless either the AAS and or exercise regimen are continued!

I am aware of the difference between lean body mass and pure muscle tissue. As I already stated, I should have more clearly delineated between the two. Yes, I guess I have been led astray a bit. The 2-on-4-off cycles have, at times, been made to sound like a proportional equal to longer cycles. Evidently I've been mistaking.

And of course the exercise regimen must be continued for muscle mass to be maintained. I don't think that was ever up for debate.

Anyway, thank you all for educating me. I'll pass on the 2-weeker for my first cycle, and wait for a 4 or 6 week window of opportunity instead.
