Race to the 4/5/6 milestone (the big 3 lifts)

It’s definitely not the worst fed but they’re picky about stupid shit. One of Training partners got DQ’d after his first squat attempt because he was wearing boxer briefs under his singlet.
Yep! Overkill didnt pay their yearly fees to be on the uspa list, so all the sudden I wasnt allowed to use my wrist wraps of choice...stupid

I don't know, I'm a die hard USPA guy. Separate divisions for sleeves and wraps, tested and untested divisions, they use a Texas Deadlift Bar at all meets, 24 hour weigh ins, and every meet I've been to was pretty well run. I've only been to USPA, APA, and USAPL (only as a spectator) and of those three USPA was miles ahead of the others in terms of everything.

They do a good meet but the federation is kinda stuck up and they care more about the money than the sport or the lifters.
Another company didnt pay their dues and now a friend of mine cant use any of his bench shirts so he has to buy all new ones. They rnt cheap. I guess the owner is a real piece of work. A few of my PL guys know him personally.
I've spotted and loaded probably a dozen uspa meets. If u overlook some of their stupid regs, they are a great fed

What put me off APA was wraps and sleeves are together, so it's crazy not to use wraps. There was some plate misloading too and they announce you as tested or untested. IPF/USAPL besides being hardcore drug free everything you mentioned about USPA they're worse about.

I'm on nights now and go in Friday evenings, so I'm pretty limited on meets outside of using vacation time.

Not sure if they have RPS where you’re at but I have had an excellent experience with them so far. Been to some USPA meets and plan on competing with them at least once just to try it. Rps seems less costly and a bit more lifter friendly, they aren’t gear nazis and run a pretty quick meet. It’s nice getting done with awards and all by 4pm and not being there until 7pm

Rps lumps sleeves and wraps together. That’s why I plan to do USPA at least once just to compete in sleeves and not have to self wrap. Rps doesn’t mention anything about drug outside the rule book.

No RPS that I've seen around here. That's so dumb to lump sleeves and wraps together. If you're not wrapping you're leaving 50lbs on the table.
