Dont you think that the white kids talking and acting black are idiots? I mean come on, I've come across white kids that talk more black than any brotha that I've ever been friends with or worked with.

Second, what do you think about all these white kids with the tattoos and hats on backwards driving around in the lifted Chevy Silverados with that Fred Durst Limp Bizkit wannabe look? It seems that a lot of those little punk bastards are not in college earning a degree and they arent working either....they're just like lazy pieces of dung that contribute nothing to society......In my opinion, they get thrown into that 'undesirable' category just like gangbangers hanging out on the set all day long. Who else thinks that all ethnic-only grants, scholarships, subsidies, etc should be eliminated? *raises hand* People should receive based on merit, not because they wear a certain skin color. Its ok for non-whites to have their own things, but when there is a white-only scholarship (Roger Williams University - RI), it makes national headlines and gets everyones panties in a twist. So much for equality.

I grew up in a all white neighborhood surounded by the worst ghetto in Pittsburgh. I absolutely hate that ghetto nigga shit.....I have never had a problem with black folk.....but I do have a problem with thier hip-hop or whatever u want to call it culture..and u would be surprised at how many educated blacks are embarresed or abhore that behavior. many interracial couple, i 'm proud to say that i'm one in that group. i'm a proud black man with a carreer that i'm currently making $75k a year. i'm 48 with a college degree. i was married for 20yrs with a black women and was later divorced, afterwards i met a very attractive white female, and she is not trash or fat,matter of fact i get a lot of stare's from white men. i 'm happy to say that we have 2 children and are very much in love. race isn't important to us
if my childrens decides to marry someone of a diffrent race , well so be it!! as long that person makes them happy, and by the way my wife's parent loves me and there grandchildrens.

I am fucked up at the moment because of the situation my family has put me in.
I fell in love with a black women....she's fantastic! Havard educated, Rhoads scholor, chief surgeon.....incredibily successful women. But more importantly she is a beutiful person! She was raised in Canada where racism is not as severe....and came to the states for school.

Well here is the fucked up shit....went home for easter and sat my parents down and told them of my feelings for this women. My mom cried and went crazy.....I mean really crazy! She said its the same to hear as if I came home and said I was gay! What the fuck????? I knew my parents had some prejudice, but to hate someone that bad (without even meeting them shocked me!) Is this society still that backwards......It hurt me so bad to tell my girl the situation this weekend, embarressing to say the least! My mom said that "we" probably wouldn't be accepted in the family....shunned. The sad part is that I have always had a good relationship with my parents. I am im my thirties for gods sake....

Heres the deal. IF you parents love you they will learn to accept her and welcome her into the family. If not and you are told to choose then look at it like this- You're going to live a lot longer than mom or dad and have to live your own life.

Don't get me wrong....I grew up in Pittsburgh and I never saw a middle class black neighborhood, Ghetto's to the max baby! But as i traveled and have lived in different areas of this country....like Atlanta and DC.....i saw a different picture. In upper marlboro (just outside DC) there is a neighborhood with 200 3500-4000 square feet homes with all black people. A clean beutiful neighborhood. I think its a matter of poverty not really color. Go to appalachia(sp?).....those fucks are just as ignorant and dirty and lazy as any homie in the hood!

I think we forget that institutional racism isn't from the 1840's, shit, the civil rights legislation was signed by LBJ in July 1964. So most blacks in thier 50's in the south could not drink from the same water fountain as a white guy, or sit at a lunch counter ect. This is not acient history.

My girlfriends family are jaimacans.....I don't know if u remeber the spiff on Jamaicans on Living Color....about how they all hold 5 jobs.....for the most part its true.....fucking hard working people. They distance themselves from the "homie" culture in amaerica......but again can never escape the stigma of thier skin color.

Same here. Pittsburgh is VERY segregated. Here in San Diego there are black families that live right in with everyone else. Pittsburgh has Homewood,the Hill District,Garfield,christ I could go on. Dangerous places and real dumps.
