Rack pulls

Only a few seconds with 855lbs, but here you go. If I can get 765lbs for 20+ seconds next time I'll post it up.

Thanks. It's a possibility with the bicep tendon, i suppose. I could be wrong, but I think it's more of a concern if you're actually engaging your arms in the pull rather than just letting them hang.

Nice man, that's a lotta plates

Are they worth the money? Any carryover to gripping a barbell?

Yeah, I have no illusions of closing the big ones. I'm just an average sized guy with normal sized hands.

Thanks. Wish I could pull even 100lbs less from the floor. Someday.

Yeah , I would say that theyre helpful but I'm guessing those static holds are better.Ive always had what my coworker calls "dick beater death grip". 855lb static holds is badass!

My grip sucks. I'm ashamed of it. Working on it though.

I should have posted pics of my hands after the 3 plate widegrip sets I did, but I didn't want to touch my phone.

Clearly NOBODY else touches that bar widegrip style with even 3 plates. The amount of crud I got on my hands after my sets, just disgusting, brown layers. Apply enough pressure and you clean the bar it seems. Yuck. Well, I left it cleaner than I found it. :-)

You a germaphobe? I am to a degree. Nothing you can really do at a gym though....latex gloves? Lol

The gym I train at is dirty AF.

They have these things for farmers?

Pretty heavy, plus you can add plates to em....10's on each end is the most I've tried. Another good thing is they are fairly clean bc no one really wants to mess with em. Hell I'm probably doing it wrong they could be torpedoes or some shit. Lmao

Far from a germaphobe, I think it's good to be exposed to dirt.

Just surprised at how much crud I pulled off the bar that's all.

There's a method to picking those up properly my strongman friend showed me. You put your hand of it kind of mid palm and pull your hand up as you grip, so it pulls some skin down. Sounds weird, but it helps.

@Perrin Aybara

You are a fucking animal. Be careful big guy.

I'm good, just a little under the weather lately and that prednisone didn't agree with me.

Appreciate it. Actually they are better than db's. They have a fatter bar to grip, but if u hit your knees with it the pain is intense. And if u drop em on the concrete floor they'll make your ears ring for a minute.

I can do like twice the weight with those compared to dumbbells.

I like those, looks like they clear the legs nicely, can you check which brand?

I searched em over and there's no brand name anywhere.

There's some print on the part where you can load plates. Doesn't look like anything though.

I did weigh one. 119lbs

The dude that owns the place is clueless. Doesn't do any maintenance, barely any advertising, the 24hr entry door has been broken for months. It works, but once someone scans their card it doesn't go back to locked unless you physically close the latch on the door jam. He bought from the original owner so no use asking him. Sorry.

You're supposed to angle them inwards in front and slightly down when you walk so gravity helps.

Both of these really made a big difference, thanks PA!

Thanks. Looks like they might be someone's hobby project then. 120lbs each, yeah, that's heavy. I have a 135lb pair of DBs and they're a bitch to move from A to B.
