Random question.

I thought this question would be much more random. Lol

Does anyone use the automated kiosks? WU and MG both have them in grocery and convenience stores around here.

Yes. Just pick up the phone and follow the automated prompts. You will end up speaking with a live operator. Eventually you will have to go to the cashier to pay. The cashier can view the transaction details on his/her monitor.

I've definitely prefer the MG kiosks, except for the lousy audio coupled with the hum of the ice maker they all seem to have next to them. I guess it's a small price to pay for anonymous transactions. I recently had to get a refund and for ID they just asked for a driver's license number and state.

WU online is a pain in the ass.

It doesn't even work for me. I tried it twice and it gave me an error at the end. I don't understand why it's such a pain to use. From a business perspective why don't they make transfers as convenient as possible? Seems like they could make even more money that way.

I have always done in person. Last time lady got chatty and started asking whi O knew in !@#$ and what was I sending money for and did I know that people scam with WU ect...I simply found a new WU spot

I like WU in person best. You walk in with the info and exact cash ready, no questions or ID required.

The keosk phone method with MG is hard to understand the old hump hump pilipino lady and they wanted my phone number, no thanks.
