Rapid Fat Loss Handbook Diet

Hello all.

A lot fatter than desirable at the moment. Throughout the past 6 months my diet kind of went to hell with circumstances of life occuring combined with plain carelessness - putting training and nutrition on the back burner.

Currently my stats are:

24 years old
male
230 lbs ( already down 7.2 lbs from 8 days ago)
estimated beginning bodyfat - 29%

Don't know what happened, but I got really fat..again:(

Anyway - I will be keeping progress on here for moral support purposes. I will be supplementing with ECA, a multivitamin, and Fish Oil.

I am aware that this is posted in the Steroid Log Sub-Forum, but I thought this would be an appropriate area for this.

My aim will be to keep my calories around 800 - 1000 calories daily (as outlined in Lyle's book) for 6-8 weeks. I appreciate your support in helping me get my fat lazy ass back into condition.

Diet will be simple - Chicken, eggs, cottage cheese, tuna, water.
Wish me luck, I will be posting daily with weigh-ins, commentary, and hopefully a weekly picture update (I will try to get a before picture up sometime today or later tonight).

good luck.
good luck eating 1000 or less calories a day for 6-8 weeks. on that diet. chicken, eggs, cottage cheese, tuna and water. youre gonna suffer. and slow down metabolism to one that burns 1000 calories a day. which includes energy levels and hormone levels.
and good luck not putting back on fat once you try to slip back into some regular eating.
i dont know lyles book but most crash diets rebound.

Best of luck bro, be careful though 800-1000 cals isn't much.

I will be following your progress.

I will definantly be adjusting calories as necessary, but will begin with this number. Will weigh in tomorrow morning.
Food today:
One Jumbo Beef Jerky Stick - 130 calories
One Large Taco Salad (Meat, Cheese, 1 Tblsp Ranch, Salsa) ~ 250 calories
One can Tuna with 1/2 cup cottage cheese with mustard/hot sauce (don't knock it, its actually a very tasty combination) ~200 Calories
6 Slices Bacon ~ 200 calories

Around 800 calories or so today. Am feeling VERY bloated. I'm sipping on my 5th liter of water today. I am willing to be my initial weight loss will be very dramatic with water falling right off me.

Guys, I know this will not be very many calories - and I am aware of what effect that could have on my muscles. At this point though, my weight is making me very unhappy, so my primary goal is to just lose as much weight/fat that I can quickly.
As long as I achieve a minumum of 150-160 grams of protein, that should be sufficiently close to at least maintaining my lbm at the moment ( which today I obviously did not hit that mark).

Mentally, this is going to be a pretty grueling challange, but I believe I am up to it.

More to come.

Scale has still not budged (230 lbs), and I am easily under 1000 calories a day! [}:)]

Oh well, to hell with the scale. I do feel like I am a little leaner - plus my jeans fit just a tad better. Weigh in tomorrow morning

well at least you feel a little leaner.
have any clue what youre doing. or why.

Sorry for the delays in posting.
Have been keeping calories around 800.

Finally got the drop on the scale that I have been anticipating over friday night. Saturdays weigh in was 227.2 - down 2.8 more pounds.

So far, the majority of diet has been comprised of chicken breast, eggs, cottage cheese, and various salads (taco being my favorite), with about 3 or 4 liters of water a day.

As of this mornings weight in though (sunday) - I weighed in a 226.5. Overall, I am at about a loss of 10 pounds in two weeks. Not bad I guess.

You might be taking in more sodium and retaining water - but 10 lbs in 2 weeks is pretty well par for the course for RFL. That's probably about 6 -7 lbs water weight, and a few pounds of fat loss.

I've done the RFL as a CAT 2 and 3, and can gain 7 lbs of water weight with a refeed easy. Just remember to keep your protein high, and your intensity up in the gym. Are you doing the EC stack as well?

Oh I know! Shit...had a refeed today and I didn't even splurge THAT bad.
Today I had some Taco joint stuff and that was really all I had for the day besides a protein shake and some chicken and I jumped up 3 pounds from yesterday!

I am supplementing with Caffiene right now, EC is a tad expensive - I can get my caffiene for 5 bucks at walmart (80 tablets). I do think that EC(A) would be a better option though - but the caffiene is just cheaper.

That would be torture. I was way over weight. Still am. But mega progress. And it was so simple I wish I knew about it 15 years ago. The guys here led me to it. KETOSIS. Dropped 30 lbs in a 2 months and then dropped another 22 in five months. This only slowed do to back injury that gave me a month and a half setback. Goal is sub 20 bf. Good luck.

wtf...you bout 3 an a half years late homie...the feds done picked up xxjaredxx yesterday...dont you watch good morning america
