RBC count still high

I don’t know about private clinics but The Red Cross and Vitalant perform the procedure. And it looks like you can do it 3 times a year. Vitalant mentions “Ideal blood types include O-negative, O-positive, A-negative and B-negative.” so I don’t know if everyone can donate. They also mention high hemoglobin as a disqualifier so that might be an issue for you.

I am not sure where the blood is initially stored after removal but at a minimum it goes through plastic tubes to exit and enter. If you take my blood out just keep it. lol
sad) everything) but I don't remember my blood type. or will they be able to find out at their clinic by taking my blood?

This is all sad of course. Because this is the most ideal procedure for us. My friends all do it. Some every six months, some once a year. Without any problems.

I think you can only do power red donations twice a year which might not be enough for some of us. Whole blood can be donated every 58 days. Plus it takes about two hours to do power red donations.

For me personally I don’t like the idea of them removing my blood, putting it in a plastic bag, then returning it to my body.
i can't donate blood because of a prior hepatitis c infection, i took some shit called Mavyret or something like that and it killed it but it still shows up as antibodies,, This is my recent bloodwork taken a few weeks ago,,IMG_0578.webp
