a million isn't shit? damn my dad retired at 69, his earnings over 30 years was a little over a million. wish I had a million startup money, I think I could grow that nicely too. that kind of start up capital is significant

trumps very statement calling a million from dad "small" shows he is old money and not connected to us peasants.

not faulting him for being rich, just seems like a giant stretch to call him self made, even if billions from that million + family money and connections of his dad+ inheritance

wasn't trump a registered democrat until 2008?so he suddenly saw the light in his old age?

or just did what many politiciansdo, says and does whatever furthers his own greed and pursuit of power.
Reagan was a Democrat before becoming Republican, so what's your point?

1. Forbes has been pegging the net worth of billionaires for quite some time and has put Trump at 4.5b. Think I'll probably take their word over yours

They've pegged them wrong before. I didn't say he's NOT, I said you don't know. Because you don't. Because no one really does.

We DO know from what Trump has released is that he drastically over estimates his income.

3. Tax returns have absolutely nothing to do with documenting wealth

False. The combination of his tax documents together should shed enormous light on how much wealth Trump has.

The same SEC filing you're referring to indicated liquidity of 250mil too which says a lot more about his wealth than net.

Even if Trump inherited every penny and it was 100m, turning it into 4.5-10b in 15 years is pretty fucking amazing!

He did inherit every penny... We just don't know how much which was my original point including the fact that he WAS NOT self made. If you still question that, define self made. He does not fit the definition...

exactly what I said right below, politicians are some people change their stance just to get what they want. not because of their beliefs, just to fulfil their own greed

His point is that Trump wears the Republican party like an old coat. It's a means to an end.

Reagan was not a great president either, so not a great comparison. Didn't he something like triple the national debt while in office?

Oh I see... if you don't like the answer you respond with "They've pegged them wrong before". Lol

Answer this one simple question... Skippy is given 10k at his college graduation by his poor parents, who saved every penny all their lives, so he could start a business.

Skippy goes on to become successful in his business and now has a net worth of 2.5m.

Is Skippy a self made millionaire?

Get the distinct impression you're a Democrat and probably don't even know why

And no, Reagan did not add 10 TRILLION to the debt... but I know who did.

Care to guess?

Elizabeth Holmes was a great reason why Forbes is not the end all be all of telling the masses who is a billionare.

Trump's estimated net worth is most likely more difficult to derive than hers as well.

Starting with a debt of $1 trillion, in eight years Reagan raised it to $2.8 trillion.

I don't really identity with either of the two parties... Nor do I really care for a two party system frankly. If I were a democrat I would check off all the names under that heading on the ballot, but I do not.
