Reasons why sources should be vetted

After some thought, I decided maybe it would be good to compile some information as to why sources are vetted. Why the veteran members are hard on them and why YOUR best interest, as a consumer are in mind.

I’ll let you know a story as an example. Around 6 months ago, I allegedly had an order of gear that totaled around $300. I’d just spent 3 months cutting, getting my bodyfat under control and I was ready to blast. Let’s get those gains!

So this was a well known source. Mass Builder Pharma to be exact. I started blasting 500mg of test and 300mg of Deca. I was about 4-5 weeks in, shoveling food like a mad man. Getting stronger, but nothing significant. Losing definition, but just assuming it was water bloat from the Test/Deca.

So I had bloods pulled and my test levels came back about 1400 ng/dl at the 6 week mark. For reference, I usually test around 900ng/dl on 100mg of TRT test. So out of 500mg of test, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was only 150mg of hormone total in that 500mg.

Long story short, I got dicked out of money I’d worked for. I ended up with way more bodyfat than I wanted. And I wasted time going into a powerlifting meet. All of that could have been prevented with proper vetting. That’s why I’m on the MESO. Because I want good gear, I want my information safe, and I want my product tested.

So we aren’t just being assholes when we hold sources accountable. We’re just trying to protect the community. That’s why we want people to speak up. That’s how we grow and learn. Sources come and go, so only accept the ones worthy of being here. We don’t need them, they need us. They’re like buses, another one will be along.

Keeping sources accountable with their actions and plans should be taken as seriously as the weights we lift, the food we eat, and the lifestyle we live.

Safety and sterility is very important along with communication. There’s so many different types of scamming. It’s our job as a community to keep our bros and ourselves as safe as possible without taking any kind of loss from any source. Whether that be money, time, or whatever.

If you see me going hard af at a source it’s not necessarily to run them off. If it does though then so be it. Vetting will pull out so many things and bring them to light. If being hard brings that shit out then it’s well worth it.
I can be hard one minute and constructive or funny the next. It’s only to challenge a source to do better in some cases. They need to prove their worth and it’s on them to do so.
I know we live in a world where we want shit now without having to wait. In this lifestyle though, it’s never fast like that. It takes years to get the body that we are striving for. Why rush finding a good source? If people could just wait things out then their success rate would be so much higher in terms of finding a quality source.
Rushing into things can often cause more problems then what it’s worth. Be smart, be safe, be informed, and be patient.
It’s pretty much the same as your performance and approach in the gym!

Truth is, sometimes I used to think some of the guys went over board... but 1 or 2 months afterwards, the source proves me wrong and does something fucked up. I've since then stopped being a little cunt and trust the boys entirely.

That bullshit that happened with PGA and his shills is proof that we need the vetting process.

Everyone gets to hold sources accountable, not just the veterans.
This last year seemed really hit or miss on test E,
I tossed out gear 3 times based on feels. Didn't stay on long enough to get bloods.
I dont put a source on blast unless I can back it up with bloods.
Same goes for praising a source.
Bloods speak louder than feels.

Thanks for getting blood work done @Brawny

Good thread @Brawny , and you're absolutely right! That some members go a little harder or overboard, maybe. I'd hope those who do so are doing it for the right reasons! I know there are many guys in here that care, not only for themselves but other members as well. @bolder you're right also, it sucks to wait; but if it means your health, your freedom, then waiting should not be an issue. Hopefully the good sources we have on here continue doing their thing and even improve! Hopefully those that have had some hiccups get back on track! But, if things don't improve or fuck ups become a norm; get em the fuck out of here!!!

Sources need to be held accountable for there actions some people use the strict on sources rule just to talk shit an be a dickhead to people that being said us being strict an sticking together is the only thing that holds this all together if a source does one person dirty or makes a mistake an doesnt make it right they can potentially lose thousands of customers an that is the only thing keeping them honest one persons bad review can cost them so much money an after all that's all there really in it for is the money an this place leads to money exchanges that could be life changing for someone if they run a good company

IA Super Pharma

This is way every source needs to be vetted regardless their reputation!!

It gets real fucking good at post 261!!
Had to go back and revisit what you were referring to. After seeing it I remembered when that all went down. Another great example of why vetting here is so beneficial.

@MiaRage22 I agree!
This is a members board where members are in control. We as a community can set standards for all sources that we see fit and that will benefit MEMBERS.
We have to stand together to keep out shitty sources and keep existing sources from laziness and becoming shitty.
You are definitely right by saying if they can’t improve and fuck ups become a norm they gotta go!

I remember that like yesterday. What a train wreck. I really liked Fran. Fukd up what went down.
Haven't seen Fran on the boards in ages. This must have driven him away from the community. I liked him as well and don't understand why he's what he is.

Fran did it cause he a lying bitch! Sold the community out for a god damn paycheck! Fuck him and his family
The shadiness was what I think was so bad about it. I’d have a little more respect for a member that decided to go that route by keeping it out in the open.
Sneaking around like he did said everything I needed to know about his character!

I need to read through that thread. Sounds like it was an interesting one.

The reason people need to vet, is because no matter if members come and go, we can still preserve the heart of this board. We can all carry and pass the torch together, so the board doesn’t die

Hell yea man, preach that shit!

On a sidenote, can anyone tell me why @picholas was banned again? Sourcing through the backdoor, correct?
