Reasons why sources should be vetted

Couldn't agree with this more. I have been a member here for a few years, mostly just reading and trying to learn. I had a great source that went radio silent around the end of the year last year. I tried a couple other sources and did not have great experiences. Clearly under dosed gear - gained more weight than I wanted, etc.

Now, I am back here again. Ready to try to contribute where I can instead of just lurking

That's fucking legendary. Bet that motherfucker just looked at his screen monitor when he realized he fucked up and just thought, with a blank stare "what the fuck have I done..."

Suddenly he gets a phone call from his "boss", he doesn't answer but hears the message that's being left and knows he needs to flee with his family. He knows he needs to run, so his gets up from his greasy shitty leather chair and goes to the cellar with a bag to grab the cash he piled up from sourcing...

He starts panicking when he realizes the cash is all-fucking-gone, his wife, Sharron, walks over sweating all over because she too, heard the message that was left by "the boss" (she knew what the fuck the hubby was doing) as she asks "Fran.... Fran... Franchise24... what does that phone call.. mean?". He's breathing heavily while asking "where is it...where's the rest? the money Sharron where is the rest?!"

Sharron just stares at Franchise24, not knowing what to say...

Franchise24 loses it and screams "SHARRON WHERE IS THE MONEYYYY"

Sharron just closes her eyes because she's about to reveal what she did.... "I gave it to Ted..."

Franchise24 loses his balance and falls down. He stares at the floor and, with a flat voice says "You gave our money... MY MONEY, to the asshole who you cheated me with ?!"

Knowing there was no hope anymore, he went back to his laptop... started his VPN and went on TOR... He knew there was a slim hope of it working... but he just had to try the oldest trick in the book...

... to deny it all.
 
Here’s another story for the MESO family, that I can neither confirm nor deny.

I allegedly had a pack delivered once, that literally had no tape on either end of the box. One end has partially crushed and open and it was just sitting in my mailbox like that.

I couldn’t find any evidence that the box had ever been taped shut and I believe the source had forgotten to seal it. Now what type of day would I have had, if those “creatine tablets” had fallen out out of the box and had been seen by the PO?

I think I remember that - Elite Labs, if I am not mistaken.
 
Tbh this is why i stuck around here while i never bothered with other forums that want to be nice and accomodating. Fuck that, these guys sell stuff we put in OUR bodies and they also make bank. Only a cuck would just drool for every new source. This is not some herbalife shit, we play with our health and money. I am grateful this happens.

Exactly, for example ashop selectively sxammed people for years and then just comes here like nothing happened being like: oh this was the past, now we are good. Fuck that nonsense. Money is the only reason these guys even care so if they want us to buy they must accomodate us, not the other way around.

Looking for inspiration at the moment.

I think something cool would be that he moves to Canada to have a fresh start. His usual raw supplier cannot ship to Canada so now he needs to find a new source for them. He succeeds, but they're shit... so he decides to advertise that he adds 10% more of compounds in his vials. Then he figures he needs a new name... something that sounds, looks and farts like a canadian... he comes up with the ultimate name... CDNDA and his lab "Canadian Domestic Anabolics".

Stay tuned... lmao

I posted this in the Venom thread so I didn’t want to rewrite it here again. So I just copied and pasted it.
It took me a minute to find it lol. I think it fits good with this thread...

Here’s a little story...
When I use to lurk on meso (while still being a member) I would think that sometimes the vetting was rough af! Each time that I would order in the past though I went with the vets here and never had any issues with the sources I used.
The one and only time I decided to go against what the vets were saying about a source in a sources thread is when I had the only bad experience with any source thus far.
I wanted to give homebrew a try. This source was offering domestic raws along with finished products. While placing an initial order for raws I decided to just order some finished Test and tren instead for a trial order to see how things went. I ordered 3 of each and he threw in a vial of each. So I had 4 Test E and 4 Tren A. It was fairly quick to order and receive the products but...
Upon inspection of the finished oils I noticed EVERY SINGLE VIAL HAD FLOATERS INSIDE! Not just small ones! Shit looked liked pieces of saw dust. Of course I immediately contacted the source. He emailed me back saying I was just one of the ‘source bashers’ here at Meso just trying to bring him down. This was even after I’d emailed him pics of the products!
I did refilter each vial but i didn’t even pin it afterwards. I eventually just tossed it out.
Anyway I contacted a member I respected here to ask for advice on how to go about it and get the information out about that source. Seeing I never posted and was new to everyone here because of that, I didn’t know how to go about it.
Btw, THANKS for that again @Roger rabbit I was and still am grateful for your help in that matter!
The source then was The Brewkit.

In short, I went against the better judgement of the vets here and ordered anyway. I got my shit but really got burned because it wasn’t useable even after I refiltered it (in my eyes anyway).

There’s a reason for the vetting process and it is needed here without any doubt as long as it helps members and sources in a constructive manner. Which anyway you look at it, harsh or not, it always has and still does!

I’d also like to add, and give props for the helpful advice I was given from @Iron Vett and @mghoward74 while dealing with the all that shit. You guys were extremely helpful!

Your story ought to be a case study for the new people to learn how to avoid the scammers and nasties that hang out on the forums.

Trash like Thebrewkit and Venom are the bane of these forums and vetting sources is indeed something new people need to learn.

It’s best to learn from the guys that’s been here awhile. Even if it’s just lurking here for knowledge and to get a feel for the board.

I always want to encourage all new members to participate and contribute useful posts. To help aid in harm reduction and bring their different point of views!

Absolutely. Too many new people just come here merely to look for a source and latch onto the first one they find...and that usually leads to disaster. By watching and learning and asking smart questions they will protect themselves.
