Red Light Therapy devices

Has anyone had really good success with a redlight uv light and blue light therapy device, I see so many bad reviews about every device i research about! Is it better to get a small powerful device, or a large mat? Just thought maybe people here might have suggestions, be nice if the device would have blue light as well for the kids facial acne, maybe she could benefit from it as well!

I’ve used a red light panel for years. Helios it’s called. It’s defiantly helped skin. And it can reduce pain in joints and muscle if it’s held really close. Just have to have discipline to keep using it though and a good setup.

I’m now following this thread. I’m curious about the claimed pain relief from red light therapy. My wife has a red light face mask and another device she passes over her skin. But those are used for cosmetic reasons and not pain. My gym has a whole body red light machine but my package only comes with free weights and cardio machines so I haven’t tried them.

Upgrade your membership package for a few months and check the red lights. I've seen anecdotes about pain, but you might find other benefits.

I bought a few panels about 5 years ago and still use them pretty frequently.

You can go down some crazy rabbit holes for the science.

I bought a pretty large/high power panel off of alibaba, used it for a few months, haven't noticed much impact from it on any of the purported benefits. But I've had bad luck with basically everything that is supposed to be related to mitochondrial function - methylene blue, mots-c, ss-31, all seemed to have no impact on me.

I would question the efficacy of anything that gains very little traction in the broader pharmaceutical space. Not saying it's not worth a try, but take anecdotes with a large grain of salt. They also tend to be ridiculously expensive for the marginal benifits they could but probably don't have.
